Good afternoon. I hope you and your families are doing well and that your home was not too disrupted by the storm.

I have a great Project Management position for you to post if you can. Thank you!

The position is located in Midtown Manhattan . Salary will be 100K-120K. The group will be 3-5 people by early 2013. Currently there are 2 people in the group.

This person needs to be motivated, independent and flexible with the ability to work on small and large projects as well as help develop the PMO and methodology as the group expands.

This person will know PM, have strong basic skills in PM, have more diversified project management experience rather than be acclimated to web development, QA or a niche area.

Culture is important in a media environment; it requires less structure, more aggressiveness, flexibility and creativity than anything else. All Project Managers have great soft skills, I definitely need them here.
This candidate may come from but not limited to media, publishing, entertainment, technology or more of an entrepreneurial type company.

PMP not required but would be nice.
8-10 years experience

Please call or email for more information:

Hi John-
I wanted to come to you as you are the keeper of the list. I'd like to announce that Janelle and I are starting a new group in our church. So can you send this out to everyone or is it OK for me to do? The text is below. So please let me know.
I don't think I will be at Monday's meeting so if this can be mentioned that would be great.
Thanks for your help and we hope you can make it.
Have a great day

Subject: in New Jersey - Sandy Impacted Business and Individual Unemployment help fast fact sheets and hotline numbers

Hello Friends,

Here are two fact sheets, which are also posted on www.jobs4jersey.com with information for both employers and individuals in NJ who have been impacted due to Sandy.  NJ was awarded a 15.6 million National Emergency grant and working with local municipalities for them to hire to do clean up and humanitarian work.  Almost all of our One-Stop Career Centers are open as of today (exceptions being Eatontown and New Brunswick who may still be without power), people can go there to get help and internet access.  We have a SandyHelp hotline and email set up to answer inquiries and help direct people to assistance â€" info on the fast fact sheets. As we get set up for the emergency grant and temporary work, we will be using our 23 Jersey Job Clubs as places for information about temporary and volunteer work â€" the calendars for workshops are up on the www.jobs4jersey.com website.

Hope you are all well and safe and appreciate your spreading the word throughout various networks to help fellow New Jerseyans.

Mary Ellen
