Good afternoon. I hope you and your families are doing well and that your
home was not too disrupted by the storm.

I have a great Project Management position for you to post if you can. Thank
you!

The position is located in Midtown Manhattan. Salary will be 100K-120K. The
group will be 3-5 people by early 2013. Currently there are 2 people in the
group.

This person needs to be motivated, independent and flexible with the ability
to work on small and large projects as well as help develop the PMO and
methodology as the group expands.

This person will know PM, have strong basic skills in PM, have more
diversified project management experience rather than be acclimated to web
development, QA or a niche area.

Culture is important in a media environment; it requires less structure,
more aggressiveness, flexibility and creativity than anything else. All
Project Managers have great soft skills, I definitely need them here.

This candidate may come from but not limited to media, publishing,
entertainment, technology or more of an entrepreneurial type company.

PMP not required but would be nice.

8-10 years experience

Please call or email for more information:

Thanks for your help and we hope you can make it.

I am writing because can really use your help to spread the word about the special opportunity for workers and businesses (owners, partners, etc) to apply for Disaster Unemployment benefits for wages lost during temporary or long-term business shut-downs related to Hurricane Sandy.    Flyers are attached, which you can share, for both workers and business owners.

Benefits are available for full-time or part-time employees for time lost, and, they will qualify even if the business has re-opened, but the employee is simply unable to get to work due to personal damages suffered as a result of the storm.

Most important is for applicants to include the words “Hurricane Sandy” in the comments section where they are prompted to select “other” under why they were terminated (this is true even if they haven’t actually lost their job but just lost time while the business could not operate).

What we know is that many, many workers and business owners are not fully aware of these benefits and there is a deadline to apply of Dec 3rd, so we need to get the word out quickly.  When posting to your Facebook, LinkedIn Groups, Twitter, etc, please emphasize that everyone can help by helping to sharing this info by old-fashioned “word of mouth” to those who are still without power and internet service!!

Many, many, many thanks!!

Be warm and stay safe!!!

Best,

I wanted to make you aware of a new Equity Corps project just posted on LinkedIN. (Please find the posting at http://www.linkedin.com/jobs?viewJob=&jobId=4111856&trk=job_nov.)
We are working with the Founder/CEO of an established Law Enforcement Technology company ($30MM) to land a VP of Distribution & Sales with a record of success designing and implementing go-to-market strategy, turning around indirect sales, and leading rapid revenue growth in products sold to state, local and federal law enforcement.
If you know a terrific executive who might be a fit, I would welcome your referral.
