Network Engineer

Major firm located out of Mount Olive New Jersey is looking for a Network Engineer for a long term contract. All candidates must be a US Citizen or Green card holder. This position can only pay on a W2 basis.

Position Responsibilities:
 

Function as a data center switching, routing, and application load balancing tier 3 engineer for the Global Data Center Cisco environment consisting of  150 switches supporting 2000 devices.
Switching environment includes Nexus 7000, Nexus 5000, Cat 6500, Cat 3750, and more.
Troubleshoot and quickly resolve complex data issues as they occur, interacting interaction with our tier 2 help desk, site support technology teams, and customers as needed.
Continuous Improvement - Participate and manage multiple, simultaneous Data Center LAN improvement projects and activities, delivering timely results.
Requires ability to work within a team and individually, regularly communicating engineers in the DC LAN and other infrastructure teams, informing of supervisor.
Requires precise planning and execution of changes to prevent unexpected downtimes.
Activities include Catalyst to Nexus migrations, switch consolidations, Catalyst and Nexus code upgrades.Configuration and continuous improvement of network management tools, including Solarwinds NPM, Solarwinds NTA, and Cisco ACS 5.2.
Development and implementation of training to Tier 2 and other staff. Consulting and Fulfillment Provide consulting and fulfillment of load balancing and other data center LAN solution for infrastructure and application teams in Cisco ACE environment.
Produce design documentation, including network diagrams and explanations, for all projects
Availability While the majority of the role is fulfilled during standard business hours (8-5), at times on call support / evening hours / weekend hours are required.

Strong understanding of network concepts, especially Ethernet, VLANs, STP, port channel, port span, QoS, TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, DNS, and load balancing.
Data center storage and SAN skills including FCoE a plus.
Proven experience in implementing and troubleshooting Cisco switching and routing environments, including implementing hardware and code upgrades, troubleshooting network configuration and performance issues, troubleshooting software issues, and troubleshooting Cisco hardware performance issues.
Proven experience in implementing and troubleshooting load balancing environments for server farm / application load balancing.
Cisco ACE, F5 or Netscaler load balancing experience required. Cisco GSS Global Site Selector experience plus.
Ability to create and update detailed network topology maps using MS Visio and maintain support documentation.
Experience in implementing and updating various network management tools such as Solarwinds, NetFlow , monitoring and alerting tools.
Server and operating systems skills a big plus. - Strong experience working in a support environment, using various ITIL processes and tools (incident management, change management, etc.) in a large enterprise environment is a must.
CCNP certification a plus.

All risk/slippages should be communicated well ahead of time.
Ability to work independently or in a team. Must have the ability to develop and deliver against action plans with minimal management guidance over time.
Must possess experience to know when to reach out for guidance.
Ability to work inside of and take direction in a multi-national, global environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills with other technical team members as well as non-technical people.
Documentation of technology and knowledge sharing across members of the team is essential to our global environment.

Hyperion Planning Developer

Description:
3-5 plus years' recent experience of Hyperion Essbase and Planning
implementations, having worked as a technical lead on these projects, and
have an understanding of the associated technologies such as Financial
Reporting, SmartView and ETL technologies such as EPMA. Knowledge of SAP ERP
system and HFM a plus as both will interface with HPM.

The position is responsible for the installation, design, build, testing and
deployment of the following Hyperion Products:
. Hyperion Planning
. Reporting (Financial Reporting)
. Smart View

Design and Build Responsibilities: (primary responsibility)
. Define and document requirements
. Develop detailed Planning and Reporting application(s) design
. Develop and confirm metadata design (e.g., chart of accounts, entities,
etc.)

Position Description
The Informatics Business Operations (IBO) Project Manager will report to the Manager of Informatics Programs. The Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing and delivering complex cross functional projects initiatives on-time, on-budget and with quality and customer satisfaction for the Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Informatics business functions. You will be exposed to a broad range of projects that will allow for opportunities to develop creative solutions and strategies that meet your client̢۪s needs.

 Main areas of responsibility:
- Lead and drive complex projects through the entire systems development lifecycle including tracking and monitoring project progress, planning testing and deployment (roll out) activities
- Ensure that the systems are properly implemented in accordance with GxP validation (if required) and internal company standards.
- Implement solutions including configurable off the shelf software (e.g. SAP), SaaS/Cloud products, enterprise system integration, and custom developed solutions.
- Maintain project financials including tracking purchase orders and invoices and budget reporting.
- Estimate project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and deliverables in support of project proposals and business cases.
- Educate and explain system SDLC, techniques and standards to both internal and external parties

Position Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications to be considered for this position:
- 8+ years of relevant IT experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of managing large teams consisting of consultants, employees, and off shore resources
- Knowledge of creating business cases and estimating project cost and effort
- Proven domain expertise within project management and IT delivery,
- System and Functional knowledge within the Supply Chain domain preferred
- Experience with implementing GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer systems validation
- Key competencies in the areas of flexibility, adaptability, analysis, collaboration, dedication, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate to project teams, business customers, and senior management effectively.
- Firm understanding of system life cycles and methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile, etc)
- Must be a team player and also able to work effectively with limited supervision
- Shows drive and initiative in learning new technologies and solutions
- Proven leader in large and complex system deployments and testing
- Experience in managing virtual organizations including off shore and contract resources
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

Ideally candidates will also have:
- Big 5 or equivalent consulting experience
- Experience implementing Finance, Human Resources, and/or Supply Chain solutions
- 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences or regulated industry
- Experience with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer systems validation
- Knowledge of MS Project and HP Project and Portfolio Manager (PPM)
- PMP Certified

their Risk Strategy Office (RSO).
Responsibilities:
Assist the RSO Team in conducting an initial survey of each area of the Firm to
determine their risk  profile.
Manage and populate a risk knowledge database for certain components of the
risk wheel that includes impact of failure that can be used to prioritize audit
frequency.
Provide project management and administrative support, including database
management, powerpoint slide design and milestone management metrics
to RSO Team.
Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Business; CIA, CRMA, CCSA or other relevant certification.
7+ years in an audit, risk or compliance capacity.
Must have the basic understanding of risk principles.
