IT Project Manager-
 
Position Description
The Informatics Business Operations (IBO) Project Manager will report to the Manager of Informatics Programs. The Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing and delivering complex cross functional projects initiatives on-time, on-budget and with quality and customer satisfaction for the Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Informatics business functions. You will be exposed to a broad range of projects that will allow for opportunities to develop creative solutions and strategies that meet your client's needs.

 Main areas of responsibility:
- Lead and drive complex projects through the entire systems development lifecycle including tracking and monitoring project progress, planning testing and deployment (roll out) activities
- Ensure that the systems are properly implemented in accordance with GxP validation (if required) and internal company standards.
- Implement solutions including configurable off the shelf software (e.g. SAP), SaaS/Cloud products, enterprise system integration, and custom developed solutions.
- Maintain project financials including tracking purchase orders and invoices and budget reporting.
- Estimate project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and deliverables in support of project proposals and business cases.
- Educate and explain system SDLC, techniques and standards to both internal and external parties

Position Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications to be considered for this position:
- 8+ years of relevant IT experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of managing large teams consisting of consultants, employees, and off shore resources
- Knowledge of creating business cases and estimating project cost and effort
- Proven domain expertise within project management and IT delivery,
- System and Functional knowledge within the Supply Chain domain preferred
- Experience with implementing GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer systems validation
- Key competencies in the areas of flexibility, adaptability, analysis, collaboration, dedication, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate to project teams, business customers, and senior management effectively.
- Firm understanding of system life cycles and methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile, etc)
- Must be a team player and also able to work effectively with limited supervision
- Shows drive and initiative in learning new technologies and solutions
- Proven leader in large and complex system deployments and testing
- Experience in managing virtual organizations including off shore and contract resources
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

Ideally candidates will also have:
- Big 5 or equivalent consulting experience
- Experience implementing Finance, Human Resources, and/or Supply Chain solutions
- 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical/life sciences or regulated industry
- Experience with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer systems validation
- Knowledge of MS Project and HP Project and Portfolio Manager (PPM)
- PMP Certified
