Position Responsibilities – Summary
The Client Applications Team within the Enterprise Delivery Center is
seeking an individual responsible for managing a team that provides 24x7
production support services for a portfolio of applications. This team
provides support to approximately 600 global relationship management and
business development staff. The candidate should have domain knowledge from
another asset manager or financial services firm supporting an operations
business group.

The right candidate should have extensive management and technical
experience with the ability to support a global and cross-technology
production environment with strong leadership, crisis resolution, team
management, communication, analytical and decision–making skills, as well as
a high level of direct interaction with the business users.

Responsibilities:

· Lead a global team of Systems Analysts and IT-Consultants
(approximately 15) responsible for providing comprehensive first and
second-level systems support (24x7).

· Continuous availability and operational resiliency of suite of
Client Application components.

· Minimize production risk(s)/issue(s) through oversight and
delivery of people, process and technology services.

· Take ownership of issues in a 24x7 production environment,
collaborate with other teams on remediation and manage them through
completion.
Manage full-time and consultant staff (professional development,
establishing goals, managing workload, defining and clarifying priorities,
and providing technical direction)

· Maintain a multi-million dollar budget, technology vendor
relationships and sustained engineering projects.

· Understand business priorities/needs, the IT organization's goals
and enable alignment of the team's operating model, processes and systems to
meet stated objectives and outcomes.

· Interact with planning, engineering, delivery, and operations
teams to coordinate project activities and support issues. Communicate
issues and status to senior management in the form of status reports,
briefings, and presentations.

· Development of strategy and plans for systems production
readiness, security/audit, monitoring for continued operability,
infrastructure high availability, participation in disaster recovery
planning and testing, adherence to system standards.

· Function as a "mentor" for the team and empower employees by
dissemination of personal knowledge, perspectives and experiences.

· Foster a positive culture of ownership, accountability,
creativity, innovation and continuous improvements of our end-user services
and system operational capabilities.

· Focus on enabling efficiency and productivity enhancements within
our global support staff, processes and our technology/tool(s) portfolio.

· Stay abreast of the "state of the art" as it relates to
Operations, both within the firm and throughout the industry.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Minimum of ten years of Systems Analysis (or related) experience
in the investment management industry, with a minimum of five years managing
a technology team.

· Five years track record in project management for medium to large
initiatives.

· Understanding of the investment management business process, with
technology experience in front, middle or back office.

· Strong communication and analytical skills.

· Demonstrated client focus and relationship management skills.

· Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical
production environment with rapidly changing priorities.

· Previous experience acting in a business analysis/developer
capacity, including knowledge of software requirements gathering processes.

· Excellent crisp verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.

· Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL proficiency.

· Change Agent, creative, innovative and focused on continuous
improvements.

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline
is required. Master's Degree is a plus.

· CFA charter, or work towards one is a plus

Keys To The Position:

1. Team Leadership: This candidate will have experience leading a team of
Systems Analysts (team size: 15).

2. Systems Analyst skills: The candidate will lead a team of Systems
Analysts but also must be hands-on and possess that skill set (gathering
business requirements, writing functional specs, working with development
teams, etc.)

3. Domain knowledge: Financial Services experience is required. The ideal
candidate will have Asset Management experience. Any experience working
directly with Relationship Managers within financial services is a big plus.

4. Client Relationship skills: The candidate must have excellent
communication skills and be able to interface with a Senior level business
users.

5. Production Support experience is required. This individual will be
responsible for a team supporting over 450 users in a global 24x7 production
support environment.

6. Technical. The candidate must be able to query the database using SQL.
If the candidate has a developers background, that is highly desired. Any
experience working in a Java/Oracle environment is also highly desired.

Position Responsibilities – Summary

My client's Trading Support unit is seeking a systems analyst to join the
team supporting our Fixed Income Corporate, Money Market, High Yield, and
Foreign Exchange desks. The trading systems group provides a high level of
electronic trading automation and tools to automate the post-trade
allocation notification process. Currently, the systems provide a means for
traders to electronically receive orders, execute, and send allocation
reports to multiple execution platforms.

Qualified applicants must possess a strong knowledge of technology, trading,
and financial services. Candidates must also possess excellent
communication skills, be self-motivated, willing to work in an energetic,
fun, fast pasted and team-oriented group. The ability to manage multiple
priorities is required. This position requires some partial early, late and
weekend shift coverage.

Responsibilities:

· Support of technology located on trading desks

· Spending a large portion of work time on the trading floor

· Phone support; answering trader questions in an expeditious manner

· Researching reported problems. Generating story level
enhancements or bug defects via existing technical tools and process
methods.

· Helping other business groups with trading related questions and
