Job Title: Junior Business Analyst
Length: 2 months plus
Location: West Chester, PA
Pay Rate: Based on experience level
One of our premier client's has a need for a Junior Business Analyst for initially a 2 month "trial" contracting position. The contract will be extended long term provided the consultant exceeds our client's expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Interact with all necessary stakeholders to define system use cases and functional requirements relative to a portal-related initiative. The subsequent project will be a procurement-
* Participate in requirements gathering sessions and create process flows and current/future state documentation using Visio.
* Clearly set expectations for each project milestone and then manage the business and the project teams to those expectations.
Required Skills:
* Minimum of 5 years of total I.T. experience including at least 2 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
* Experience conducting and leading requirements gathering sessions in a small group and/or one-on-one setting is required.
* Use Case development and authoring Functional Requirements Documents is required.
* Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Must be customer focused - meaning must be able to understand the importance stakeholders business objectives and drive the process towards achieving those objectives.
* Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in working with all levels of an organization&#
* Must be a self-st arter, enthusiastic; and possess very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills.
* Demonstrated ability to complete deliverables on time and within budget.
* Any retail or e-commerce experience is a plus.
