Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst
Candidates MUST be able to complete a
Project assignment through End Of Year 2015. Extension past this time is
possible but not guaranteed. No OT, No Travel required. All work to be
performed onsite in Peapack.
SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for the ongoing
administration, development, and support of two of Pfizer's global supply
chain systems: ISS supply-to-order and Logility Demand Forecasting.
Additionally, the position will manage project-related work on an as-needed
basis.
RESPONSIBIILTIES:
· End User Support -
Handle help desk support requests within the predetermined service level
agreement (SLA);
· Provide general
direction and guidance to offshore contractors;
· Troubleshoot
issues, identify root cause, and implement solution.
· Projects / Implementations
- Participate as member of project team; may lead some project activities.
· Execute project
plan tasks based on approved timelines;
· Work with end-users
to create business requirements.
· Develop technical
design documents; Develop and maintain system documentation that meets SDLC
standards;
· Coordinate and
implement all testing (QA, User Acceptance, Integration) to ensure program
enhancements work properly and are error free;
· Develop and code
enhancements to the ISS Web application based on user requirements.
· System
Administration - Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
· Escalate issues as
appropriate;
· Proactively drive
improvement efforts to eliminate production errors;
· Monitor system
activity and system logs to ensure system availability and integrity.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· University degree
in Computer Science or equivalent through experience;
· 8+ years IT
experience required;
· Experience in Supply Chain business processes required;
· Experience with the
following applications is a plus:Manugistics, Logility, JDADemand/Replenishment; Ability to speak and write in English.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
· Very good SQL / DB2
skills;
· Ability to build
complex queries with joins etc to extract data required by management;
· JAVA SWING/Client
Server and Web Technologies;
· Experience with
IDEs like Eclipse and code versioning systems like Subversion/SourceForge;
· Understanding of
code build process using ANT; MS Office; AS/400 (is a plus but not required);
ORACLE (required); NET experience is a plus;
· Ability to
effectively analyze business requirements and provide the appropriate technical
solutions to satisfy the needs of the business;
· Must be able to work
effectively on team-based projects with IT, business, and third-party
colleagues in a global environment;
· Must be able to
work with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization, across
multiple lines of business and possess varying degrees of technical competency;
· Must be able to
effectively manage and deliver projects on time;
· Excellent
communication skills.
