POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB INDENTIFICATION
Position Title:    Project Manager II
Department:        Information Services and Support, Application Support
Reports To:        Manager, Project Management Office

SUMMARY
The Project Manager Level II oversees the technology components of construction projects throughout Atlantic Health System organization.  This includes, moves, renovations, and new buildouts. The PM has responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).  The PM must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates competency in all aspects of project methodology
•    Develop project charter and obtain approval
•    Establish and achieve project deliverables
•    Develop and execute communication plan
•    Develop change management plan
•    Develop and maintain risk mitigation plan
•    Create work breakdown structure
•    Develop  and facilitate multi-disciplinary project team – internal and vendor
•    Monitor and control project work
•    Conduct lessons learned meeting. Communicate outcome.
•    Measure customer satisfaction
•    Close and archive project documentation
•    Possess strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
•    Possesses strong organizational skills
•    Manages multiple priorities & projects
•    Performs routine to complex problem-solving on site & enterprise projects encompassing multiple levels of integration
•    Demonstrates effective issue escalation
•    Maintains clear concise documentation
•    Develops and maintains relationships among project team members
•    Sustains cooperative working relationship with vendors and other business units.
•    Orients new Project Managers
•    Works under the supervision of a senior Project Manager, or the Manager of the PMO

QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and Training:
•    Associate Degree or Certification, preferably in Information Technology Project Management
•    PMP Certified preferred
Experience:
•    Minimum 3 to 5 years in project management or information systems application support and /or technical services
•    Prior healthcare experience preferred
•    Expertise with the following office automation tools:
o    Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
o    Microsoft Project
o    Microsoft Outlook
o    Other project automation tools as required

Description:
The Legal, Compliance & Control Technology (LCCT) organization is experiencing significant growth as existing applications are being significantly enhanced or rebuilt.  We are seeking a strong SAS Application Developer Lead who wants to join a fast-paced, high-energy team.  The ideal candidate will manage a team of SAS developers and will be responsible to:
• Participate in all aspects of the software development process including, requirements gathering, designing, coding, unit testing, quality assurance, and deployment
• Work in a collaborative team of software professionals and have technical group leadership abilities with the capability of acting as a technical leader across multiple projects
• Plan, architect, design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document programming on assigned applications to satisfy business requirements for one or more business areas.
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards, risk management and security policies. 
• Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document in solving business problems for one or more business areas
• Lead efforts in architecture review, strategic technology directions, and best practice development
• Lead and mentor team members
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software maintenance, improvements and upgrades
• Assume responsibility for issue resolution for production systems and provide tier 2-3 production support
• Prioritize and manage development and implementation of enhancements/changes
• Coordinate code migrations to move code through each environment (Development, Test and Production) with the code deployment teams
• Oversee Operations Monitoring and Capacity Management.
• Establish proper IT SDLC procedures
 
Qualifications
• 10+ years of relevant development life cycle experience in systems and applications management including systems/application design in SAS
• Data Modeling and good data analysis skills
• Database platforms like Oracle, Teradata, DB2 and MS SQL
• SAS Base, SAS Datasets, SQL, SAS Connect, SAS Macros
• ETL concepts and data quality controls
• Unix shell scripts skills in order to perform data manipulation
• Implementing quality guidelines, standards, and procedures
• IT project management and team management skills e.g. planning, process controls, people management, etc.
• Proven ability to successfully manage relationships between multiple clients and prioritizing their needs while maintaining the overall health of the systems
• Prior experience managing external service vendors to ensure superior service delivery for all core technologies
• Demonstrated expertise overseeing installations and Release Management, including the final production acceptance review and signoff
• Proven ability managing the issue resolution process for any application production problems
• Demonstrated ability overseeing Operations Monitoring and Capacity Management
• Experience with financial data models
• College degree or specialized training / equivalent work experience
