*The Mission:*
To effectively manage the IT team ensuring the business continuity of all
computer data, telecommunication and networking services for computer users
throughout the organization.

*Overview:*

- Will have full responsibility for running and supporting the company's
technology infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SAN, Voice and Data.
- Will create solutions to address technical issues across their global
enterprise. This position reports up to the CFO and works closely with the
CEO of the company.
- Manages a small team including outsourced resources and vendors.

*Responsibilities:*
Must be hands on day by day displaying technical dexterity specifically
with innovative technical designs. This position carries both strategic and
tactical responsibilities. It requires knowing up front that no job is too
small or too low on the chain to get hands on and involved with, practical
experience and the ability to assist in selecting technology.

You will need to have a very solid technical foundation and hands on skills
in:

- Storage Area Networking HUGE SIGNIFICANCE specifically for huge
volumes of data supporting Big Data initiatives (ClientEqualLogic preferred
or EMC, NETAPP, Hitachi, etc.)
- Strong Windows experience including Active Directory
- Experience in supporting a SQL Server platform on your infrastructure
- Networking/Security Cisco Platform/Cisco Firewalls
- Voice Communication (Avaya preferred)

*Other critical job success factors include:*

- Demonstrative experience in scaling with a growing company
- Ability to support the day-to-day technology needs, ensuring uptime
including network services, data services and file access.
- Working with IT staff to ensure the security of the information
systems, communication lines, and equipment.
- Maintaining a working understanding of the IT needs throughout the
organization.
- Serving as contact for network users and communicate with other
departments to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Researching, evaluating and managing the implementation of new
technologies into production. Installing, upgrading and configuring network
printing, directory structures, rights, and security, software and files
services.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

I wanted to provide an update and let you know that the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce will be having their job fair on September 18th from 11:00am through 3:00pm.
