Title: Project Manager
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: Contract
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate/facilitate the technology meetings for network projects across all infrastructure groups
• Ability to analyze the project / organization and determine the necessary resources
• Work with technology managers to document requirements in order to translate into MS project
• Perform all Project plan input and updates; includes timely distribution
• Document and distribute weekly meeting minutes
• Coordinate equipment tracking process i.e. incoming and outgoing
• Creation of the methodology and tracking of the financial budget
• Collect and communicate project status, as per the established plan, to stake holders.
Requirements:
• PMP preferred, as well as CCNA or higher desired
• Solid background in Networks (Voice, Data, and/or End User Computing) a requirement.
• Solid track record of managing large scale network projects.
• Data and project management background with new buildouts. Experience with new data center, firewall, IP addressing, etc. extremely helpful in this position.
• Data Center builds, consolidation and or moves.
• Integration of one infrastructure into another (Network Consolidations).
• Experience in a large enterprise organizations.
• Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Proven track record and comprehensive understanding of current market products and services
• Solid background in technical product offerings
• Thorough knowledge of telco offerings (DWDM, SONET, etc).
