| BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT POSITION Instructor, Computer Science Full-Time, Tenure Track - September 2014 Extended Search GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Computer Science Department at Brookdale Community College is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure track position to begin fall 2014. The department welcomes candidates who are committed to Brookdale's mission of success and academic excellence and who desire to work in a diverse and dynamic environment. In addition to excellent academic credentials and subject area knowledge, candidates will bring to the college a love of teaching; an enthusiastic desire to assist students; and an eagerness to contribute to the Brookdale Community College community. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Computer Science or Master's degree in another field with a Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering. Preferred knowledge of C, C++, Visual Basic, Java, Data Structures, Local Area Networks, Web Design and Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Game Modeling and development of Mobile Applications in either IOS or Android. SALARY Low-mid $50's (faculty members teaching extra courses or working additional hours during the academic year and in the summer receive additional compensation.)
