Position Summary:

Tools and processes are only compelling and impactful if people know how use
them. How many applications or systems capabilities have been developed and
go under-utilized because professionals do not know they exist, can't find
them, or give up when the processes are not sufficiently intuitive.
Effective communication and training processes help ensure the firm's
investment and business professionals maximize impact of tools and processes
for the benefit of our clients. 

This position will shape and lead our IT training and communications
practice targeting internal investors, business professionals, and clients
that utilize the firm's applications.

Responsibilities:

* Shape future of training capabilities with a suite of
alternatives and standards

* Leave-behind cards

* Web-style "What's new" or "Let's get started" overlays

* "How to" training videos and library management

* Screen capture videos (Captivate, Walkme)

* Social engagement

* Certification training (IT security Awareness, custom apps i.e.
PMW Open Orders)

* Regular communication to the business on IT and
technology-related updates

* IT Expositions

* Coordination with Support teams to understand application
feedback and proactively engage with training strategies

* Collaborate with application teams, support teams and others in
IT on common feedback and/or wins from professionals in other applications
during the application design process.

* Think global, communicate local - whenever possible, tailor
message and/or format into the local style/language

* Facilitate mechanism for alerting business to system outages,
data quality issues and other advisories

* Ensure communications are effective regardless of device/mobility

* Leverage social media techniques and systems, establish best
social practices for other support and applications teams for training and
communication

* Manage an IT "Suggestion Box" and solicit input from investment
and business professionals on IT services -- own the IT social presence

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Hands-on experienced training professional with excellent written
and verbal communication skills

* Positive, energetic attitude

* Self-starter requiring little direction to engage and collaborate
as needed

* Thought leader in training and communication space that stays
current with emerging trends and techniques - and practical wisdom to know
what to avoid.

* Facile with mobile devices, apps, social media and SAAS

* Vendor engagement and management

* Hands-on technologist / professional software engineering
experience is a plus

* Knowledge of investment industry is a plus

Keys to this Role

1) This individual will be responsible for a centralized enterprise wide
IT training program that will be made available to all technologists across
the IT organization.

2) This person will not do the training but will be the Designer and
Architect behind all IT training platforms.

3) This individual must be well versed in the most current training
tools to include all new digital and social media tools and systems.

4) This person will act as an Advisor and Empower the Trainer and Users
to take full advantage of the new Training programs. We will look at
candidates at all levels.

* "App Store" acceptance process and standards

* Strategy for fully supported and partially supported
devices/services

* Influence SAAS standards and app integration architectures

* Online/Offline/Slow Connection support

* Mobile device management

* Asset management and registration

* Security and patch deployment processes

* Device wiping of firm content only

* Secure, frictionless access

* Mobile VPN-less access to support cloud-hosted solutions

* SSO, SAML, Proxy

* Ownership and development of custom applications and services

* Contribute to Work-At-Home and Business Continuity Planning

* Help to establish and maintain appropriate mobility policies
