Job Summary

Responsible for identifying the requirements, leveraging them with the ITIL framework processes as they apply in environment and business model, for the successful implementation of a single, companywide ITSM tool (change management, incident , problem, and configuration management) .

This role requires the lead systems engineer, to design and develop solutions within the ITSM space to satisfy requirements of the business in order to fully develop, support and maintain a comprehensive solution for service management and change control functions.

As well the development lead would need to perform the duties of the SME for the platform and design/develop solutions within the framework of the selected tool. Deep understanding of all aspects of the development lifecycle is required.

Primary Duties

•Design, develop and implement features, workflows, etc as needed to meet business requirements as it relates to governance systems ( change management, ITSM)

•Enforce standards in Implementation processes across all modules.

•Work with admin team to manage and maintain the implementation instance, oversee ongoing maintenance and upgrades as needed.

•Function as SME for the governance systems platform

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 6-8 yrs. experience

•Development experience in Java or python

•Linux

•Prior experience with any of the following: Remedy , Service-Now , JIRA

•ITIL Knowledge, certification and prior experience is desired.
