Position is located in the Morris-Essex County, NJ area with a top notch consumer oriented corporation that is doing very well and is stable. Full Time, permanent position. Compensation: $90 - $110K
Senior Business Analyst - Finance
Will be responsible for project management, including determining Finance participation requirements and coordination with IT and other
project team members, to support the Company's business process and system implementation efforts. The Senior Analyst will have ownership of project management responsibilities for the Global Finance portion of initiatives, including:
• Creation and/or maintenance of project plans and project status reporting
• Development and implementation of communications strategies for various stakeholders (finance leadership, finance project team members, IT)
• Ensuring that appropriate Finance resources are included and are actively participating as needed.
• Coordinating the involvement of SMEs from various parts of the division or business
• Ensuring that appropriate testing procedures are in place and are being followed and assisting with testing procedures as needed, and
• Coordinating or providing training as needed and assigned by department management, and provide training as needed
• Will also provide finance process
and system expertise as needed, including participation in project team meetings as a subject matter expert, leading or assisting with the documentation of business processes, and lead or assisting with business requirements gathering and documentation.
• Additionally, will provide transition support for implemented solutions and will provide second level support on an ongoing basis as needed.
• Will also participate in and/or lead other special projects and assignments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•BA/BS, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems
• 4-7 years of diversified finance, accounting or systems implementation experience
• Candidates must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to interact with individuals at varying levels
• Ability and comfort in
leading meetings and group discussions
• Customer service and team oriented individual
• Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Preferred qualifications:
•Financial systems acumen/experience, e.g., JDEdwards
• Project management experience; Process improvement experience
• Microsoft Project and Visio experience
• MBA and/or CPA
