We have been asked to find a Director Information Systems & Product Support to be based in the mid-west.

Our client discovers, develops, manufactures and markets veterinary vaccines and medicines, complemented by diagnostic products and genetic tests and supported by a range of services with over $4B in annual revenue and over 60 years as a leader in the animal health industry.

Position Overview
The Director Information Systems for the Company's Genetics Division will be responsible for ensuring successful product delivery through best in class quality and information systems. Provide Quality oversight over the entire product workflow globally. Lead improvement initiatives to improve on quality or other processes that would result in customer satisfaction, diminished costs, constant improvement and increased profits. Defines and oversees the implementation of IT initiatives to address business objectives and requirements. Oversees implementation of IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. Consults with and advises decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective enterprise solutions for all aspects of the Genetics organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner that will
provide HR client support and interface extensively with senior leaders and
all levels of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

-Develop strong working relationships with the organization and Company HR
team.

-Utilize standard processes and best practices to align human resource
initiatives with business objectives.

-Effectively manage and execute on multiple HR processes, including: talent
acquisition and development.

-Leadership Development Reviews, Performance Management, employee
engagement, diversity, and compensation planning.

-Create and implement innovative and cost effective strategies and tactics
to attract and retain top talent at all levels of the organization.

-Manage and respond to employee relations issues. Demonstrate the ability to
counsel employees on HR processes and procedures, performance management and
career planning.

-Drive differentiated and meaningful compensation-related decisions to
ensure competitiveness and internal equity.

-Lead and support special projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

BS in HR or related field required,

7+ yrs of HR generalist experience supporting professional employees with
role progression,

Ability to work effectively and influence others in a diverse and dynamic
work environment,

Knowledge of HR practices and policies, and applicable state and federal
laws,

Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate policies, practices
and code of ethics

NOTE: Need longevity in roles--need to be in roles for more than 2 years

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

-BA/BS degree required or MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree strongly
preferred

-5-10+ years of progressively responsible HR generalist roles or a
combination of generalist/specialist experience

-Demonstrated experience working with senior executives, driving HR
practices effectively across all levels of the organization

-Ability and demonstrated skills leading change

-Ability to influence without direct supervisor responsibilities -High
degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential
information is essential

-Strong analytical and systems skills

-Ability to work effectively and influence others in a diverse and dynamic
work environment

-Knowledge of human resource practices and policies, and applicable state
and federal laws

-Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate policies, practices
and the Code of Ethics

-Superior follow-up and follow-through skills

-Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
