*Job Responsibilities:** -*
*Accurately testing, identifying, repairing, resolving, and documenting end
user technical issues regarding basic network/desktop/laptop support,
Printers, PDAs, handheld devices which include iPads & iphones, 3G
aircards. Blackberry, Desk phone - Cisco, and LAN cable drops*
• Break-fix, troubleshoot and resolve software issues;
• Reimaging computers/hard drives
• IMACD functions including installation and decommission
• Backing up and restoring user data, settings and associated systems
administration activities
• Assist ServiceDesk/Remote Desktop Support teams for hands and feet
coordination efforts
• Assist on Incident and Problem management activities
• Taking ownership of issues through to resolution on all appropriate
requests
• Categorize and prioritize end user support requests (Incidents) and
service requests by utilizing ticketing system to track tickets and provide
up-to-date status and information
• Move equipment associated with escalated help desk incidents and
(1.) To analyze and prepare the data cuts as per review requirements
(2.) To contribute research and data gathering as and when| e.g. opening an
operation in new geos
(3.) To put together data and slides from different sources for the whole
function review with senior management
(4.) To understand the requirements of the customer from the process &
application.
(5.) To update information and run validation to keep it current| e.g. PMS
(6.) Contributes to special assignments to increase the maturity of the
CoE| e.g. budgeting tool design

*Job Description*
-Senior technical system administrator role in distributed compute
organization.
-Technical expert in areas of Solaris and Redhat Linux, VERITAS volume
manager and cluster, Solaris zone and ZFS, EMC SAN/NAS storage.
-Extensive work experience and knowledge on hardware, HBA, DNS, firewall,
load balancer, networking, middleware, web application and security. Unix
Shell/Perl scripting

*Job Responsibility:-*
-Work with regional and offshore Unix team members on Unix related system
administration tasks. The candidate will be involved with internal and
cross-divisional teams on infrastructure projects, platform migrations, BCM
planning, audit/risk and end-of-life remediation. Work with operations and
business teams to troubleshoot production issues, communicate problem
impacts and to perform problem determination and root-cause analysis to
maximize availability and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
The candidate will be heavily involved in a SAN storage tech refresh
project. That includes initial investigation and testing, automation,
documentation, project planning, coordination with project managers, other
teams and vendors, scheduling with clients, and technical implementations.

Off hours and weekend works are expected.
