Join a growing company!  Precision for Value is hiring a Junior Editor who will be responsible for helping to get written medical or copy material ready for client submission. They will support all editorial-related needs and perform a variety of proofreading, copy editing, and general support duties. The Junior Editor will report to the Associate Managing Editor. Essential Duties: · Proofread copy for spelling or grammatical errors and client/brand style. In some cases, they may rewrite materials to better fit the brand/client editorial policy. The Junior Editor must be able to implement editorial changes in various formats, including PDF, PowerPoint, and Word ·        Under the supervision of the Associate Managing Editor, the Junior Editor could take the lead editing responsibilities on certain accounts · Fact check materials, as needed and determined by the Associate Managing Editor · Manage medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) submission prep for multiple online client submission systems (eg, Zinc, Veeva) · Cross-train on various MLR submissions within the company · Follow up with authors and account management team on content revisions · Meet with copy or medical writers to discuss possible changes to the copy · Attend status and kickoff meetings as necessary · Perform any other company-related duties or special projects as necessary  
Desired Skills and Experience
· Bachelors degree in English, writing or similar field, or science degree with relevant editorial/publishing experience · 1-3 years experience in pharmaceutical/medical communications industry · Knowledge of AMA (10th edition) style · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and approach tight deadlines with accuracy, tact, and composure · Organizational ability, initiative, and attention to detail • Ability to interact professionally with various levels of staff · Good working knowledge of technology and software, including Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, or similar software · Travel required up to 10% Commercial excellence for global pharmaceutical and life sciences clients through the proficient demonstration of product value and outcomes.
