Manager of Global Purchasingfor specialty chemical additives company in northern NJ. Responsible for the global materials management activities…negotiations,sourcing, analysis of trends & pricing, forecasting, budgeting,relationships with suppliers.  Interface with sales, marketing,technology, manufacturing facilities and International purchasingorganization.  Reports to the Director of Purchasing. Approximately 20% travel,International included.Requirements
- Bachelors degree, MBA desirable
- 5--7 years' experience in procurement within the chemical industry
- Chinese or Spanish language skills a big plus
- CPM, preferred
- Three years international procurement, far east procurement a big plus
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Strong analytical skills
