Position - *Active Directory & Messaging Consultant*
Location - *Waltham, MA*

*Job Description:*

- Provide public folder administration services, including
creation/deletion of folders, folder owner permissions and ownership
assignment, and folder replication management.
- Provide security services specific to collaboration systems (e.g.,
SPAM filtering).
- Perform application upgrades (e.g., service packs, hot fixes, dot
releases).
- Implement pre-defined HCL shared services processes for AD support.
- Rebuild domain controllers/reinstalling active directory/ hardware
refresh.
- Develop/document procedures for administration that meet requirements
and adhere to defined policies and procedures.
- Active Directory replication management and troubleshooting.
- Adding the global catalogue to a domain controller and verifying
global catalogue readiness.
- Authoritative and non-authoritative restore directory.
- Backing up / restoring Active Directory objects.
- Perform schema management tasks.
- Perform group policy management tasks.
- AD Maintenance and troubleshooting (check functionality of NTFRS, AD
Replication).
- Active directory security administration and role based access.
- Reviewing all performance related reports (Health Monitoring reports).
- Full Server restore (following failure).
- Recommend implementation of fixes, upgrades and releases.
- Create a New Mailbox Database and add the Database Copies.
- Transfer the FSMO roles.
- Migrate the SYSVOL Replication from FRS to DFSR.
- Active Directory - Metadata Clean-up using Ntdsutil
- Recreate Mailbox Database (EDB file) to Recliam the DB White Space.
- Backup and Restore an AD integrated DNS zone.
