Senior Global Systems Integrator Alliances Manager
The Senior Global Systems Integrator Alliances Manager (GAM) is an individual contributor role in the Alliance organization, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Alliances. The primary role of the GAM is to implement, maintain, and develop partnering strategies with Global Systems Integrators (GSI), Regional Systems Integrators (RSI) and Boutique Systems Integrators (BSI). Systems Integrators include companies such as; Accenture, Cognizant, Tata, Wipro, Keane, VIP, Myer-Holum and etc.
Responsibilities include:
• Serve as the primary business interface and business lead between Syncsort and its System Integrator Partnerships worldwide
• Manage all aspects of key partner alliance in the field; spend maximum time at alliance partner's corporate headquarters communicating corporate values to management and sales force
• Build revenue and sales business plan for each assigned alliance partner in order to measure success
• Provide feedback to the executive team and the alliance partners for the purpose of improving the effectiveness and reults of the alliances
• Works closely with sales managers and directors to drive pipeline and field engagement with key SI partners
• Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets
• Be consistent in quarterly forecasting for assigned partners
Qualifications:
• 5-7 years experience in a business development or alliance role managing Systems Integrators
• Knowledge required in either Data Management software (Mainframe or Open Systems) or Data Protection software
• Proven success and strong comfort level with multi-tasking and changing directions quickly
• Experience with ROI and TCO value selling models
• Highly motivated and independent contributor
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• Ability to understand & represent a partner's view within the organization.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity; be able to drive business decisions when factors are unknown or unclear
• Ability to think/act globally and drive the organization to make/execute the best decision for Syncsort overall
• Able to communicate complex business issues clearly and succinctly to senior management
• Substantial experience in negotiating, writing, and closing complex contracts
• Proven track records of exceeding goals successfully; bottom-line oriented.
• BS/BA; MBA desirable
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
