Payroll Tax Manager
Reports to the Director of Payroll

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for all payroll tax activities including compliance with federal, state and local regulations and filing tax returns.
Supervise staff of tax analysts and manage day to day processing.
Responsible for accurate and timely tax deposits and reporting.
Prepare special reports for senior management.
Works directly with Accounting on tax reconciliations.
Manages all aspects of federal and state tax audits as well as internal audit requests.
Prepare letters of abatement for any penalties.
Coordination of Cobra Subsidy.
Responsible for Year-End processing and filing of all related tax forms.
Works with IT to insure compliance related to tax withholding rates and year-end reconciliation.
Works with IT to insure all earnings codes are setup accurately for taxation on a federal, state and local level.

Experience Required:

5-7 years overall payroll tax experience
Experience with tax outsourcing providers (ie: ADP, Ceridian, and Master Tax) and implementation of systems.
Experience with Cyborg and PeopleSoft a plus.
CPP preferred.

experienced Senior Reviewer - Application Architecture/Systems Development.

processes worldwide and senior management decision making around the world.

conditions within the firm. Our focus is largely on technology and
operations risk. We leverage a diversity of business and technical skill
sets and excel in relationship management, information collection and

The role reports to the Program Director. Key responsibilities include:

- Provides expertise in reviewing technology archiecture across Client
Businesses.

- Developing effective senior line management relationships and has a strong
understanding of the businesses.

- Participating in major business initiatives and pro-actively advises and
assists the business on change initiatives.

- Responsible for business monitoring, reporting findings, and recommending
appropriate interventions where needed.

- Proposing creative and pragmatic solutions for risk and control problems.

- Training and developing others.

- Actively participating in the development of the global audit plan.

Qualifications

Over 10 years of IT Management experience with hands-on experience of
Systems Development and Application Architecture. North America Technology
requires a candidate with depth of industry experience within Consumer Bank
or Captial Markets processes and applications. Candidate should have an
ability to analyze complex problems, provide solutions and communicate these
effectively to the business. The candidate should be self-motivated, have
strong project management skills with the ability to adapt to various audit
assignments. Experience in Information Security practices is essential for
the position. BA/BS is required and appropriate certification (CISA, CISSP,
PMP) is preferred.

Travel is required 25%
