OLAP Developer
To develop predictive modeling algorithms using Java. Develop visualization techniques for the same. Participate project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution. Will also be hands on in data mining process.
Skills: Extensive knowledge of RDBMS (MS SQL Server 2005-2008, Oracle, Sybase) Extensive knowledge of OLAP (Oracle OLAP or MS Analysis Services 2005-2008 or Essbase or Pentaho) Should have experience in Predictive modeling & Statistical analysis. Reporting tools like – Reporting Server / Business Objects. Web technologies like ASP / JSP. Very good understanding of Financial Systems. Focus on back office. Fixed income, Equities & derivates
Justification: The candidate should have relevant experience in front office & back office financial applications. An excellent understanding of fixed income & equity derivatives products. A hands on experience in development of system that follow a trade through its life cycle. A good understanding of statistical modeling & predictive modeling. The strategic direction of SMART to move towards predictive analysis will be impacted.
