Job Role: ELN Developer
Location: Mounds View, MN
 
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Medtronic IT is seeking an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) Developer to develop ELN templates using Waters SDMS Vision Publisher Form Designer. The candidate must be proficient in business process analysis, Excel programming, and quality assurance testing, as these functional areas compose a significant portion of the job responsibilities.
Responsibilities:

Work with laboratory analysts to gather and document ELN template requirements and specifications.
Develop ELN templates with Waters SDMS Form Designer using MS Excel embedded within a Vision Publisher document.
Assist with the development of custom ETL interfaces between ELN documents and external applications and serial devices.
Assist in the development and execution of ELN template qualification procedures.
Assist in the development of ELN template operating procedures.
Release qualified ELN templates to production as needed.
 
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
Must have the ability to effectively translate laboratory test methods and procedures into functional ELN templates.
Experience developing advanced MS Excel spreadsheets.
Experience with SQL queries and ETL processes.
Working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and predicate rules governing quality systems and laboratory records. Desired Qualifications
