Job Description A major Automobile Manufacturer with an office in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey is looking for a IT Business Analyst.
Candidates needs to have a technical background and should have an understanding of the following: Date Warehouse
Cognos DB2 among other technologies that are mentioned in the job description.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the business to understand their business, processes and requirements following ITPM methodology.
Develop Business/Functional System Requirements within Business and System Proposal documents. The requirements
Gathered will be based on detailed discussions with their business with their business partners as well as other technical
Resources.
Work closely with the Technical/Build Team during the development of the System, Design, Construction, Testing, and
Implementation of the final solution.
Ensure that all proposals are in line with the strategic direction of the company.
Support the Project Manager with Project Estimates, Milestone/Project Plans, Resource Allocations and regular
Status meetings and reporting.
Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in business/systems analysis and design as well as experience
With formal project management methodologies. This person will have demonstrated success on a wide range of projects,
Varying in size and complexity.
Should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and must be able to work independently.
Must have excellent communication skills.
A background and understanding of Warranty Systems in the Automotive Industry is a plus.
Candidate needs to have a technical background and should have an understanding of the following:
Data Warehouse, Cognos, Web based GUI design, DB2, Oracle etc.
Salary Range This is a temporary assignment which will payup to $90 an hour Corp to Corp and less for W-2.

The Manager, Competitive Intelligence is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on industry, market and competitor developments and the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities.
The incumbent will develop and communicate insightful and actionable business intelligence for strategic decision-making to support strategy formulation, business and marketing plans, new product development and business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct primary and secondary research. Gather and analyze industry, market and competitor intelligence
Provide insights on competitor strategies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and strategic plans
Monitor and analyze industry trends and market development
Identify and analyze new business opportunities in existing, adjacent or new markets and businesses.
Prepare and communicate industry, market and competitive intelligence assessments, with business implications and actionable recommendations for ETS strategies and business investments
Identify and evaluate prospective business partners and acquisition candidates
Make presentations to C-level executives, Brand teams, Strategic Business Units (SBU) and other business stakeholder
Lead cross-functional market and competitive intelligence teams
Serve as the competitive intelligence subject matter expert on Brand Teams and other teams as needed
Build and maintain an active network of internal and external intelligence sources. Develop and maintain a bank of relevant secondary data sources
Design and manage third party market and market and competitive intelligence studies. Manage consultants to ensure achievement of project objectives within established deadlines and budgets
Attend industry conferences and provide reports on industry, market trends and competitor developments
Experience and Skills
Experience/Education:
MBA required 7 years work experience in market, business or competitive intelligence positions
Other Requirements:
Fluency in a second language is a plus
Superior ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative information and weave together disparate data to develop relevant insights and determine business implications.
Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
Excellent ability to synthesize large amounts of data into concise, written reports and presentations, with actionable recommendations.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, functioning in a results-orientated manner.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to forge good working relationships with internal clients at all levels, industry experts/analysts and service providers.
Strong, written and oral communication skills with the ability to make presentations to C-level executives.
Flexible work style, sufficient to function effectively with changing directives and priorities, where all information is not known.
Good interviewing skills
Good functional abilities with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Ability to travel
