FTE PERM position in  NYC  for  large financial services client for Senior HYPERION Technical Analyst/Technical Implementation Specialist
KEY is the INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT, install, configure  and implementations, not the applications side
FTE salary $120-130K
 
Seeking  a Senior HYPERION Technical Analyst/Financials suite :
•     -Installation and technical support of Hyperion applications esp HFM, FDM, Planning, Essbase
•     -Become technical expert on Hyperion application infrastructure and implementations
•     Ensure Hyperion is fully supported by vendor and initiate upgrades as necessary
•     -Ensure Hyperion applications infrastructure and installations technical and process documentation is produced and kept up to date
•     -Work with compliance and audit teams to ensure Hyperion systems meet regulatory requirements
•     -In-house technical expert on the Hyperion/EPM suite of applications
•     -Installation and technical configuration of Oracle Hyperion software
•     -Diagnosis and resolution of any technical Hyperion application issues.
•     -Lead technical application support for Hyperion
•     -Work with vendor on resolution of technical issues in the Hyperion environments
•     -Ensure Hyperion technical documentation is in place and kept up to date
•     -Liaise with other teams on Hyperion related initiatives and support issues
•     -Ensure Hyperion applications are fully vendor supported and initiate upgrade projects as necessary.
•     -Ensure Hyperion systems meet regulatory requirements
•     -Make recommendations on process improvement opportunities and manage approved process changes through to implementations
Qualifications:
•     -Undergraduate Degree preferably in Mathematics or Information Technology related discipline.
•     -Hands-on experience of Hyperion application installation and configuration
•     -Hands-on experience of upgrading Hyperion instances
•     -Experience with database technologies
•     -Experience supporting Hyperion in global enterprise environments; Ideally 5 years
•     -Functional familiarity of Hyperion applications esp. HFM, FDM, Planning, Essbase
•     -Experience with Oracle databases
•     -Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with Hyperion application installations.
•     -Good technical knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux platforms
•     -Working knowledge of other financial systems (Oracle Financials) preferred

Responsibilities include:
Managing all resources, resolving all service execution issues, managing scope control and cost commitments, risks, meeting deliverables execution and time lines.
Sr PM may manage multiple large delivery partners at a time and may also perform program management of activities for multiple end-customers concurrently.
Communicate and work with diverse business units, Sales Account Managers, customers, pre-sales, post sales, developers, consultants, partners, and BMC Senior management.

Define a business solution package including (but not limited to) solution pricing, cost, and resources and deliverables for the project.
Deliver SOW's, RFP's and Solution Proposals to the customer after obtaining appropriate approvals.- Define required roles and assist in service/project team creation utilizing BMC resources and partners as required for project deliver (aligning resource availability and skills).
Position Requirements
8+ years experience in a Project Management roles
Experience managing software implementation projects
Advanced knowledge of project management lifecycle.
PMI & ITIL Certification highly desired
ITSM knowledge desired
Ability to travel up to 50%
