Position: Finance Manager

Reports to: ED – Head of Accounting Americas

Job Description:

Global electronic agency brokerage firm is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our finance team. The Finance Manager provides financial accounting, reporting, and analytical support to the ED – Head of Accounting Americas and is primarily responsible for accounting and reporting tasks related to the US Broker Dealer as well as the consolidation of a $500 million global business. In addition, this position will also conduct in-depth ad-hoc financial analysis, create detailed schedules supporting the audit process, interpret accounting pronouncements and other complex tasks. As such, the position will interface directly with accountants and financial managers throughout the global Instinet enterprise as well as various departments.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in accounting

• 5-7 years experience in an accounting function

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in Excel

• Self-starter with ability to work in a matrixed environment

• CPA a must

• Experience with consolidations and foreign currency accounting

• Strong Analytical and quantitative skills

Preferences:

• 2-4 years public accounting experience

• Essbase experience

As a Product/business analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the

Undergraduate or graduate degree preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication and team-building skills
Must have solid financial skills to model market-based data in order to
generate realistic expectations to support a business case that supports
investment
Ability to perform data analysis using MS Office Business suite (e.g. MS
Excel, MS Power Point)
Ability to maintain close working relationship with sales, customer
service and product delivery managers to ensure customer satisfaction and
maintain product profitability
Ability to support the development of product strategy and marketing
programs to support client facing initiatives
An ability to lead & coordinate groups of individuals who are not aligned
to the same set of goals and objectives to achieve a unified outcome that
creates value for all involved

Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) guest speaker this month, June 14, is
