Overview





This person will provide leadership to this large Pharmaceutical
manufacturing site's IT infrastructure to include Manufacturing, Quality,
EHS, Facilities/Maintenance, Technical Services, Supply Chain, Finance and
Operational Effectiveness. Through subordinate staff will assure compliance
with all IT regulatory requirements to include FDA/GMP, PWI, PMF, SDLC, etc.
Will be accountable for hardware to support site required operations such as
IT/QA Computer systems, LIMS, etc. The qualified candidate will have a BS
degree minimum in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline and at least
ten years IT experience of which at least four must have been in a
leadership capacity, knowledge of a Client Server environment, process
automation and specifics such as Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN, Satellite DC,
Syustems Development Life Cycle methodologies and SAP/R3. Candidates must
also have a thorough knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations. This is an
urgent search and is extremely visible.



Required Skills & Experience:

. Bachelor degree in Computer Science (Information Systems and/or
Data Processing) or bachelors degree in Computer, Industrial or Electrical
Engineering. MS/Ph.D. in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics would
strengthen qualifications.

. Minimum ten (10) years in Manufacturing IT positions with at least
four- (4) years experience of administrative responsibilities and six (6)
years of technical hands on experience.

. Knowledge of Laboratory Data Acquisition and Quality systems and
processes.

. Knowledge of process automation systems.

. Knowledge of Client Server environment, Thinclient technology, MS
Windows operating systems, Service Oriented Architecture, Data
communications equipment: Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN, Satellite DC and
general knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes (e.g. Packaging,
Tablet Press, etc.)

. Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies

. Proven skills in project management, systems development and
implementation of manufacturing and quality related systems. Knowledge of
SAP/R3 highly desirable.

. Ability to impact and influence people/areas with an outstanding
company to deliver superior business results

. Thorough knowledge of cGMP and FDA regulations

Client is upgrading its Oracle Financial systems from Oracle 11i to r12 and assessing moving to a cloud environment.
 
Engagement and Reporting
Report to the Director of PMO and Technology Process and Governance
 
Purpose
This project manager will be fully responsible for successful completion of defined scope, schedule, cost and quality of the project.
 
Responsibilities
 
•         Interface with customers and design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle ERP r12.
•         Will follow a structured software development life cycle including requirements sign off, design, review, code review, system testing and user acceptance testing.
•         Develop data conversion and testing strategies
•         Train end users to use new processes or technology
•         Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
•         Defines project scope and secures stakeholder approval.
•         Responsible for completing and uploading standard required artifacts to Platts project management information system called Power Steering.
•         Manages the full project life cycle and associated project management deliverables for initiation, planning, control, execution and close.
•         Identifies and manages risks to project execution throughout the project life cycle.
•         Monitors and controls and reports on costs, schedule and scope according to standard processes. 
•         Manages issue resolution and escalation and change management processes.
•         Leads project team and manages team performance.
•         Manages stakeholder communication.
 
Education and Experience
•         BS or MS in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
•         Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) required.
•         Minimum of 5 years experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Development Tools
•         Experience implementing Oracle ERP in a global, multi-country setting within a single instance
•         Deep domain knowledge of accounting or financial systems
•         Must be experienced in the use of application development life cycle process, application testing, and customer support
 
 
Experience and Skills
 
•         Experience managing off shore development and QA teams in India.

•         Proficiency in Version Control Software (CVS, Sharepoint etc.)
