Environment Manager Job Description

The successful candidate will perform the role of an Environment Manager, a role that encompasses the management of the IT Infrastructure for the Supervisory Control Tool (SCT) project. A strong developer background with 8 to 12 years of overall work experience is a pre-requisite for the role.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Environment management
− Liaise between the SCT Development team and IT partners to ensure the proper management of the SCT IT infrastructure
− Drive the provisioning and de-provisioning of infrastructure per project capacity requirements alongside TIS partners
− Oversee data center migrations and maintenance activities like Quarterly Maintenance Windows, patch upgrades, capacity requirements, backups, etc.
− Monitor and address performance and capacity issues with the help of IT partners
− Manage GARS and MyAccess processes
− Work with ETL, BO & Java tracks on performance optimizations, query tuning to address long running transactions, measuring and identifying performance bottlenecks, etc.
− Develop and maintain environment related documentation, CATI, DR guides, run book with the help of Development team and IT partners

Build and Release Management
− Develop scripts to automate the build and deployment processes across all technical tracks (i.e. Java, Business Objects & ETL)
− Ensure all code is labeled and maintained in source code repositories and built in an automated manner from the repositories
− Manage day to day build and deployments activities
− Manage and execute the implementation plan for all production deployments

Production Support Improvements
− Work with PTG to identify opportunities to reduce RTB costs. Examples could be development of shout out procedures, optimizations of feed SLA thresholds, optimizations to address performance issues around feed processing

Other
− Familiarity with Business Objects, Java, Informatica, Shell scripting, Messaging, Source Code Control Repositories is a pre-requisite

Job Description:
This individual will be working on and supporting the High Net-Worth implementation which is a build out for the broker dealer business within Wealth Management. They will be solutioning workflows, designing the system interfaces and coordinating with the test leads in QA, technology as well as the business to solution and build out this system.

Job Responsibilities:
