Title: Systems / Support Analyst - Procurement

This is a temporary position can go perm for the right person.

Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Systems Support / Analyst to play a
key role in of procurement-related systems implementation and post-go-live
support. The successful candidate will provide technical and functional
direction in final stages of vendor-supplied Purchasing, A/P and Finance
systems implementation, then will assist users with systems navigation,
generate pre-configures and ad-hoc reports, and identify technical issues
after implementation, working with the Procurement team to resolve them.

Responsibilities:

. Technical and functional tasks leading to a successful
implementation and maintenance, of Procurement related systems.

. Post go-live, assist users with systems access and navigation; run
pre-configured and generate ad-hoc reports; and troubleshoot technical
issues.

. Serve as internal consultant and technical advisor for the user
community and Procurement staff.

. Present best practices for business processes within Procurement
Services.

. Point of contact for Procurement Services web site content
management.

Skills and Qualifications:

. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems or Business.

. 2-5 years of experience supporting systems, preferably
financial/procurement.

. Experience in a technical/functional role on a major system
implementation highly preferred.

. Experience with SciQuest eProcurement system highly preferred.

. Experience with Banner ERP Finance Module preferred.

. Familiarity with data transfer technologies (cXML, EDI, etc), data
query language (SQL), and databases/platforms (Oracle).

. Proficiency with reporting tools.

. Experience supporting Purchasing, AP, and Finance systems,
proficiency with BI tools, and familiarity with website design and
development software.

- The candidate must be able to analyze and interpret a set of
requirements and, in reference to predefined architectural design and
configuration standards, produce the Engineering design documentation
required to support the associated project.
- This may include (but is not limited to) detail design documentation,
device configuration templates, IP addressing schemas, detailed migration /
integration planning, commissioning / test plans and device / functional
certification.

This will require the candidate to have a proven track record of working in
a large enterprise or carrier environment and a strong knowledge and
understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching and Firewall technologies.
