Lead TechnicalSystems Analyst

We currentlyhave a 6 month assignment for a Lead Technical Systems Analyst for SystemAnalysis and Documentation open with the Group Insurance organization.

Right to hire: Yes Scope of Work: The primary role of this candidate will be to provideleadership to technical systems analysts (TSAs) in producing, delivering andmaintaining functional specifications documents (FSD) by collaborating withbroad based cross-functional team members from technical, business partners andquality assurance areas.

This individualwill also play a critical consultative role, at various stages of the SystemsDevelopment Lifecycle (SDLC), to partner with lead developers, solutionengineers and testers in producing a variety of key documentation that includeSoftware Architecture Document, Technical Specification Document andRequirements Traceability Matrix.

In the process,this individual will participate in various reviews with business partners andtechnical members throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

Detailedunderstanding of business requirements Produce Functional specification document

Review TechnicalSpecification document Provide analysis estimates for projects and initiativesCollaborate with interfacing applications

Analyze defectsreported by quality assurance team Collaborate with business partners forseeking clarifications on requirements

Coordinate andmanage other Technical Systems Analyst on the team Qualifications: Bachelor degree in CS or equivalentexperience preferred 5+ Years experience working in a highly collaborative rolewithin a technology organization

Prior experiencein the development and design of functional specifications for complex projectsPrior experience with programming/development is a must;

Prior experiencewith configuration based modeling, rating or calculation engines in financialor insurance industry will be a HUGE plus;

Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills and presentation skills

Ability tohandle multiple and competing priorities Knowledge of tooling in theApplication Lifecycle Management space will be a huge plus Experience withanalytical tools such as MS Office Suite, Visio, DB Artisan

Experience withversioning software Experience with commonly used SDLC methodologies such aswaterfall, iterative, agile, etc.

Goodunderstanding of relational databases (RDB) and RDB design with the ability tocreate and read Entity Relationship Diagrams

Knowledge of Webarchitecture, Object Oriented Architecture (OOA) and Service OrientedArchitecture (SOA) will be a plus Insurance industry experience will be aplus
