Dear TBCNJ Members and those looking to become members (our meetings are always open to everyone)

We are always looking for ways to improve the group and make it and our meetings as beneficial and pleasurable as possible.

Therefore we will be instituting changes in the meeting agenda effective 2/9/2013 that several of you have requested. These are being made to improve satisfaction with the group members and improve attendance at our meetings.

1. We will continue to lead of with a quick set of housekeeping rules beginning at 8am these will take no longer than 5 to 10 minutes and meetings will always start on time at 8 am

2. Our monthly speaker will have 1 hour/60 minutes for there presentation including questions it will follow our housekeeping rules between 8;05 to 8:10 approx time

3. Next will be our elevator pitches each individual will get 30 seconds and need to stick to our script NAME ->Value Proposition/ Position ->Targeted Firm(s) -> Name Remember anything else is a Detraction and can minimize the effectiveness of your elevator pitch

4. As we are managing/Facilitating this main point of the program to try and get it down as closely as possible to two hours (8 - 10am as possible) as many wanted to limit the time and have a predictable time to attend

5. The last agenda item which is now optional is Open Networking - don't worry if you have questions, need addition assistance we will stay around and help those who want and need it on a one on one basis

We hope you like these changes as they are meant to improve your satisfaction.
We need your participation to keep the group as strong as possible so starting with our next meeting mark your calendars for Saturday 2/9 and join us this year for as many meetings as your schedule can permit. I definitely can't do this alone. As competing priorities arise remember how important this group is if you are ever in transition again and how important keeping it strong is to you and all the rest of the members. Together we have built something special and very strong in this forever changed world after 9/11 let's keep it going, keep it as strong as we can, and continue to evolve it to the next level. Please mark these dates in your calendars for 2013:

* January 12
* February 9
* March 9
* April 13
* May 11
* June 8
* July 13
* August 10
* September 14
* October 12
* November 9
* December 14

Thank you for your time, your friendship, and in advance your support, attendance and active participation. If I can effectively get the groups ALUMNI engaged we can really start doing some outstanding work with the networking group on career management and being proactive and continuing to move this group to new plateaus. So after 10 years I still have enough gas in my tank to make the effort to the next plateau - please join me on this exciting trip of taking this premier networking group to it's next level of capabilities in helping our members.

If we haven't spoken in a while please drop me an email and let me know that you've read this and will be putting these meeting dates in your calendars, recommitting to the success of our group, and if you feel comfortable sharing with all the members in the group do so, let's get some strong momentum going as we have a real diamond in the rough here and it's time to realize it's true potential is right before us and i am looking forward to us achieving it TOGETHER!

Please join us for these highly interactive breakfast briefings in New York, Chicago and San Francisco. We will discuss and demonstrate ways to activate and energize the 70:20:10 Learning Model.

The 70:20:10 model is a formula that assumes that learning comes mostly from on-the-job experiences (70%), followed by learning from others (20%) and structured training (10%). Using a variety of structured e-learning and social collaboration tools, you'll experience first-hand the many types of learning activities that can be applied when deploying enterprisewide learning solutions. The solutions are designed to transform the talent of the individual learner and boast organization capability.

What's truly unique about this type of blended learning approach is the integration of the best of Web 2.0 learning programs and the accessibility of both web and mobile devices. This flexibility and range of delivery methods fuels both social and informal learning. You will walk away with an understanding of how new technologies can decrease the cost per learner and increase the value per dollar spent.

This dynamic briefing will feature pragmatic case studies, best practice guidelines, and opportunities to test drive the technology and tools. We will also discuss tactics to realize the return on your learning investments in ways that are meaningful to both the learner and the sponsoring organization.

While attending this breakfast briefing is complimentary, reservations are required. Sign up today as space is limited.
