Responsible for leading the business analysis phase for a large sized, highly complex program to replace an existing ITO supplier service management tool to a supplier strategic platform. The business analysis will be targeted toward business functionality, integration, process and training. Key
responsibilities include:
- Scope, plan, manage and monitor key business process engineering and functional requirements and deliverables to support technology solutions.
- Work directly with the program manager, key infrastructure SMEĆ¢€™s and ITO supplier personnel to identify and prioritize solutions to people, process and technology requirements including the development of business cases.
- Work directly with cross functional and multi-vendor team to document all business and technical requirements for technology solutions.
- Work with client infrastructure to drive efforts to leverage and integrate tools, technology and metrics to ensure effective and efficient program execution..
- Work with project managers, business analysts, and other project team members to define and document functional and technical requirements on complex business projects.
- Partner
with client infrastructure and ITO supplier to create, define and document business case requirements and produce functional specifications for this significant, large-scale and high complexity projects.
- Serve as subject matter expert of ITIL v3 across all infrastructure functional areas including Incident Problem and Change, measurement and reporting, request fulfillment, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Asset Management.
- As appropriate, question and challenge business teams to understand goals, priorities, and requirements. Facilitate issue resolution and communicate decisions to relevant parties.
- Partner with client infrastructure and ITO supplier to integrate and leverage tools, technologies, and metrics to optimize processes, and analyze and communicate organizational impact and potential change management issues of proposed people, process and technology solutions to relevant stakeholders.
- Design approaches for effective data
management and ensuring data integrity.
- Leverage a broad infrastructure business and IT product knowledge, including the impact of industry trends, regulatory environment, and relevant best practices on the IT business and infrastructure operations

- Process, procedures and policies knowledge
- Bachelors required.
- 10+ years of combined business, team leadership and technology experience, with 8+ years in the business analysis domain
- Recognized BA certification preferred
- 5+ years of technology and/or consulting experience including managing client relationships (internal/external)
- Knowledge of CMM and Six Sigma methodologies and standards
- Clear understanding of IT infrastructure environments and technologies with experience in
eliciting and documenting functional and technical requirements in accordance with industry best practices
- Proven experience in process reengineering and business modeling concepts, including ability to solve problems that span business operations and technology
- Able to build effective relationships with business and IT leadership at all levels, with experience in initiating and facilitating discussions with multiple stakeholders, leading to effective and efficient issue resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong influence and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Insurance preferred
