The Manager, IT – Commercial Organization plays a key role in the Information Technology Organization at Warner Chilcott, responsible for ensuring a value based partnership between IT and internal clients, overseeing the portfolio of IT projects, products and services delivered to the Sales Organization.
The Manager, IT – Commercial Organization is responsible for capturing demand originating in the Sales Organizations and translating that demand into solutions. This includes developing technology roadmaps that align to the business strategy; developing business case, budget and business requirements for project initiation, evaluation and selection of solutions in partnership with the business, as well as defining service level requirements and agreements between IT and the business.
The successful candidate will bring broad IT management experience spanning projects, applications and infrastructure in small-to-midsize pharmaceutical businesses, and the ability to enhance IT performance and maturity. The Manager, IT – Commercial Organization is responsible for understanding the Warner Chilcott Global Commercial Organization and its business processes, the pharmaceutical industry and trends and translating the business needs into technical solutions along with overseeing delivery of IT services and projects to ensure internal client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilites:
- Act as an advisor to the business and IT management on the technology needs of the Commercial Organization.
- Function as the liaison and key contact point between the business and IT
- Work with Commercial management to develop and support strategies for business process improvements through information systems automation and data analytics.
- Develop and maintain Information Technology roadmaps that align with the strategic business goals within the Commercial Organization.
- Define and lead IT governance, working together with relevant business owners.
- Lead a matrixed organization responsible for delivering cost effective, innovative, and stable solutions that meet needs of our Commercial Organization.
