Media to Your Career Goals"
This
presentation provides a broad overview about social media as it relates to
jobseekers.  What is social media and
what are the advantages?  How can a
jobseeker benefit from social networking? 
What is one's brand and how can negative search engine results damage
one's reputation?  What are online
communications best practices and a few online communications strategies?
About the Speaker – Alex Freund:
Alex Freund is also known as the
Landing Expert for publishing his Landing Expert job-networking list via his
Web site www.landingexpert.com . Alex is
prominent in a number of networking groups and also writes a blog for job
seekers accessible via the same Web site. 
 
Alex had a successful career as
corporate director at Fortune 500 companies. After graduating from Cornell University 's School of Hotel
Administration, he worked in hotels and hospitals. And he's managed some 35
different departments known as Facilities Administration or Support Services.
 
Alex has extensive experience at interviewing people for jobs. He also has
practical training in career coaching. Consequently, he formed Landing Expert Career
Coaching services.

There
is a $10 fee at the door to cover the cost of the room.

for help with job search issues or connecting to people at target companies,

Meeting Format:
7:30 to
8:00 – Registration & Open Networking
8:00 to
8:15 - Welcome and housekeeping
8:15 to
9:15 – Presentation by the guest speaker – Limited to 60 minutes
9:15 to
10:15 - Elevator Pitch - 30 Seconds about yourself, who you are, what you are
looking for, target companies (3-4), how we can help you, how you can help
others.  Follow the rule of the Three B's
of Public Speaking: Be informative; Be brief; Be seated.
10:15
until  you choose to leave  -  Open Networking, follow up with
people you are interested in meeting following their elevator pitch, exchange
business cards, peruse the library, arrange follow up meetings, etc.

- Make sure you come with the 30 second elevator pitch - honed - including your
targeted companies, your value proposition, etc.
2 - If
you are not already a member of our linked in and Facebook groups please join

Once linked to our groups - link to each other - a strong network is a vital
component to a successful job search

I really hope you get this fast. I could not inform anyone about our trip, because it was impromptu. we had to be in Philippines for Tour.. The program was successful, but our journey has turned sour. we misplaced our wallet and cell phone on our way back to the hotel we lodge in after we went for sight seeing. The wallet contained all the valuables we had. Now, our passport is in custody of the hotel management pending when we make payment.
I am sorry if i am inconveniencing you, but i have only very few people to run to now. i will be indeed very grateful if i can get a short term loan from you($2,350)USD. this will enable me sort our hotel bills and get my sorry self back home. I will really appreciate whatever you can afford in assisting me with. I promise to refund it in full as soon as soon as I return. let me know if you can be of any assistance. Please, let me know soonest. Thanks so much.
