Position Responsibilities - Summary

This individual will participate as a systems analysis supporting the Legal,
Regulatory and Investment Compliance business group - bringing experience
and best practices to a fast-moving area of the company.

Demonstrated experience in supporting business professionals in the
investment services industry is essential. The candidate should also
demonstrate a track record in successful project management and delivery,
working with cross-functional teams including both internal and external
resources.

The team provides a high level of automation and tools to ensure the Firm
remains in compliance with all client-mandated, regulatory, investment,
trading, personnel, and, other restrictions.

This individual will report to the manager of the Legal and Compliance
Systems.

Responsibilities:

· Develop key knowledge of specific business workflows and system
workflows

· Manage projects from initiation through execution, delivery, and,
production support

· Identify comprehensive and creative solutions leveraging
technology to improve key business processes and solve business challenges

· Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners
across the firm

· Partner with systems professionals at all levels of the
organization to proactively manage opportunities for new/improved technology

· Manage the work of employees, consultants, and, vendor resources
in the implementation and support of compliance-related technology projects

· Stay current with evolving industry trends and the regulatory
environment to ensure that delivered systems are "state of the art"

· Identify and implement process improvements to better both the
"speed to market" and quality of the end product

Required Skills and Competencies:

· 8 years or more experience in a systems role supporting business
professionals in an investment organization

· Demonstrated track record throughout the systems lifecycle, with
proven expertise in the analysis, delivery, and, support of major
applications

· Strong all-around project management and project methodology
skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Highly self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced,
team-oriented environment, taking initiative as necessary

· Demonstrate strong client focus and relationship management skills

· Hands-on knowledge of SQL and relational database technology

· Strong analytical and hands-on problem solving skills with an
attention to detail

· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or
related field

· An MBA, PMP, CFA or work toward a CFA would be considered a plus
but are not mandatory

· Experience with managing and creatively interfacing with vendors &

2. Domain: The candidate needs to understand Securities, Holdings and
Account Structures. The ideal background would be a candidate that has
experience in any of the following areas: Compliance, Security Master,

3. Technical: Must be able to query the database with SQL.

Position Responsibilities - Summary

This individual will be responsible for redesign, development and support of
the in-house Enterprise Reporting platform, a Java/J2EE application for
scheduling daily batch and interactive reports. The individual will work
within a project team in understanding requirements, developing technical
designs, developing solutions and delivery of reporting projects, across all
tiers of the solution.

Responsibilities:

· Architect, design, implement, deploy and support of the next
generation of the in-house Enterprise Reporting solution.

· Support the existing version of the Enterprise Reporting solution
in Prod until the new one is tested and deployed.

· Assist project managers with project management related tasks like
efforts estimation, resource allocation, task distribution, delivery
management, risk management and other project management tasks.

· Work with a team of employees and consultants including offshore
vendor-resourced staff for ongoing support and redevelopment.

· Establish best practices for integration using web-services and
other current industry practices.

· Work with project lead, analyst, and business users to understand
business processes and translate them into functional and non-functional
specifications for reporting solutions

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Hands-on experience on the following technologies would be
required for day-to-day operations from the on-boarding day:

§ Java, J2EE, Weblogic, Tomcat and web-services integration

§ Experience in Weblogic to Tomcat migration would be a plus

§ Experience in Webservice calls to Oracle Reports Server, OBIEE,
Jasper, Cognos & Tableau is highly desirable.

§ Oracle 11g databases, SQL and PL/SQL

§ Shell scripting (ksh, bash, csh, Perl), job-scheduler (Maestro)

· Minimum 5 years of deep expertise in design and development of
J2EE applications with Oracle databases.

· Ability to operate with less than perfect information and make
quick decisions when necessary, and be able to take existing applications
and work on enhancements and bug-fixes.

· Experience in working with & guiding offshore development teams
required.

· Must be able to independently architect, design, and coordinate
complex projects.

Keys to this Position:

1. Java/J2EE: This is a core Java/J2EE developer role with Oracle on the
backend. We are using Oracle 11g and require 10g as a minimum.

2. Application Server: Tomcat, Weblogic or another. Tomcat would be
ideal.

3. Reporting: Oracle Reports Server, OBIEE, Jasper - any of these is a
plus.

4. Messaging: JMS or Active Q

The Alternatives Systems Team is responsible for supporting and providing
advanced tools to analyze, book, price, and risk manage a broad spectrum of
products and assets used by the Asset Allocation Investment team. In

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with investment professionals to understand business
problem and to create effective technical solutions

· Engage investment professionals at all levels to proactively
identify opportunities for new/improved systems to assist the multi-asset
class investment process.

· Be an "expert" in the firm's Alternatives infrastructure and Asset
Allocation, Hedge Funds, and Derivatives products

· Work closely with IS teams to design and develop cross-functional,
firm-wide solutions

· Work with the Alternatives development team to develop efficient

individual will come from a global financial services organization, with a
strong preference for asset management and/or capital markets.

· 7+ years of trading or investment environment experience with a
minimum of 5 years proven experience leading technology initiatives
supporting Equity, Fixed Income, or Derivatives asset classes.

· Solid understanding of fixed income and equity derivative
instruments, quantitative concepts, and related front-office investment
processes.

· Demonstrated client focus and relationship management skills.

· Proven hands on project management skills with full cycle
(iterative and incremental) development experience and a proven track record
in managing various components of a large-scale system across multiple
teams.

· Proven software development experience and in-depth understanding
of the full software development life cycle

· Strong strategic thinker with a track record of innovation and
