Overall Responsibilities:
Perform Technology Risk Audit (Architecture, Design and Implementation Deep Dive) for critical Corporate Services Technology (Legal & Compliance IT , HR IT and CIO IT) systems
Provide Risk Leadership & Governance: Interpret Business & Security requirements, regulatory requirements, and operational requirements for subject systems and evaluate the effectiveness of technology & process controls in place
Strategic Infrastructure Systems Analysis & Planning: Understand big picture enterprise risk patterns, contribute to strategic planning, and address as initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills : Will be required to conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts as part of Audit field work , review/analyze relevant documentations and frame up findings reports with recommendations in technology as well as business terms
Strong decision making, analytical and creative thinking skills
Ability to work with limited supervision and make independent decisions
Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results

Experience
At least 7-10 years of enterprise architecture experience across the breadth of IT domains (end-point, network, server, application, data, identity, storage). Demonstrated the ability to apply that experience nimbly to new computing paradigms
Demonstrated experience with
o System Architecture and Design: availability, performance, scalability, data integrity
o Application security management: user entitlements, authentication, accountability, data protection
o Technology Operations: change management, data backup and retention, performance and capacity management
o Technology governance: technology risk management, policies and procedures, rules, regulations, intellectual property
o Vendor Product Implementation and Vendor Risks

Knowledge of specific technologies include: Deep and Broad Infrastructure understanding related to application hosting, physical and virtual infrastructure data center hosting, Single-Sign On and Federated Single Sign-On Technologies like SAML & OpenID
Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry-specific finance and technology functions
Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
Ability to articulate change implications for any process or system solution to any level in the business organization (from user to senior management)
Ability to perform problem solving in a complex demanding environment by drawing on a pool of technical experience, business understanding and good judgment
Demonstration of a strong understanding of the financial services industry and related lines of business

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
Experience/Background
Candidate must have a minimum of 7-10 years of enterprise architect in operational risk management/ compliance technology experience in the banking and finance industry.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BS / BA Required in Business Computer Science .

REQUIRED SKILLS:


IT lifecycle project management experience/exposure. The candidate should have some familiarization or exposure to the general IT project lifecycle. This will enable them to better understand what we're trying to accomplish for the client and how the results will impact the clients business.
Client communication and coordination experience/talent. Our client is expecting professionals that will take ownership of their assignments and treat them, their colleagues and other stakeholders with tact and professionalism.
Experience working with and briefing senior leadership Federal Government clients
Ability to self-start, self-motivate, and work on your own with little management oversight
Minimum of 2 plus years in the use of SAP Business Objects suite
Minimum of 2 plus years of experience in design and development of SAP Web Intelligence reports and Crystal Reports
Minimum of 3 years of experience with relational databases, general database design, and the ability to learn new database concepts, processes, tools, and best practices
Minimum 3 years of excellent SQL skills and experience working on SQL Server
Minimum 2-3 years of complex Microsoft Excel experience functions, pivot tables, etc.
PREFERRED SKILLS:


DoD project management experience. Project management experience within a DoD environment, and be a self-starter/self-motivator. You will have exposure to DoD clients, their respective business environment, and have a familiarity with how the federal government approaches project schedules, resource acquisition and assignment, and overall politics of getting milestones accomplished.
IT Infrastructure and/or Data Center experience. The client environment is focused on data center application hosting services, where the firm assists the client in analyzing incident, problem, service desk, and other ITSM incident data, identifying trends and problems, and developing visualization of the data for the client. Understanding the nature of help desk and IT service management requirements for application hosting centers would be a huge plus as it would lend to a short learning curve.
Ability to visualize data, and a good sense of how to best present data in order to support decision makers
Ability to quickly adapt to and learn different software tools or techniques
Ability to communicate technical requirements and functional requirements in a clear, easy to understand, manner
RESPONSIBILITIES:


This client engagement role involves in-depth data analysis and reporting for a client with regard to IT Service Management data. This position is responsible for proactively analyzing IT data, integrating data from multiple data systems, visualizing information, developing reports to communicate this data to various levels of leadership, and briefing the client on the information discovered. Primary tasks include:


Proactively conduct data analysis of ticket information, and respond to tactical tasks such as last minute, immediate and one-off type reports, data calls, and data analysis requests. Provide monthly and weekly support of ticket analysis and support of the Balanced Scorecard and Directors Trend briefings.
Develop and brief ad hoc reports that include specific Key Performance Indicators for the Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, and other ITIL processes through Enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
Provide automated performance data and metrics for over 1,400 applications by interfacing with existing ticketing (ITSM) and monitoring systems. This requires daily threshold-driven review of all systems, and weekly trend analysis of every system. The goal is to contribute to developing a future "self-reporting" metrics system.


This is an ongoing project that will require the ability to interface with and clearly, concisely brief senior DoD leadership, capture/develop reporting requirements, the ability to understand and analyze disparate and complex data repositories, and develop business views and scorecards as required to move the business forward.


Requires an appetite for solving customer problems, is self-starting and self-motivating, exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, an ability to analyze and visualize data with the technical skills to get and correlate the data, and is comfortable briefing senior DoD/government leadership.
2. 5 days/week @ Ft. Meade required
