Senior HR Generalist
If you are a Senior HR generalist looking to be part of an
ever-growing Northern NJ organization, please send your resume

Functional areas of responsibility will include staffing,
employee relations, labor compliance and reporting, labor
relations, and employment equity programs.
Essential functions
1. Implement human resources programs by providing human
resources services, talent acquisition, staffing, employment
processing, compensation and benefits, training and development,
records management, employee relations and retention; and
personnel transactions.
2. Manage Human Resources /HRIS database and associate personnel
files.
3. Maintain working relationship with Union officials and ensure
adherence to terms of labor contract by monitoring day-to-day
implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working
conditions.
4. Represent company management in investigating, answering, and
settling grievances, by arranging and scheduling grievance
hearings between union personnel, supervisors and the Management
team. (as needed).
5. Assist in compensation and benefits planning and design.
6. Collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field with at least 5
years of HR or related experience
• Experience working with unions, employment law and other
government compliance regulations is preferred along with
knowledge of pertinent federal, state and local laws, regulations
and codes
• Principles and practices of recruitment and selection
• Knowledge of developing job descriptions, performance
management systems
• Ability to objectively coach employees and management
through routine employee relations matters
• Must be bi-Lingual in Spanish and English
• Must have excellent written and communication skills
