Job Description:

The successful candidate will act as a principal orchestrator of all required data services IT deliverables; responsible for demand assessment, acquisition, business intelligence/data forensics analysis and data quality assurance of the business data required by the Human Resources and Core Compliance corporate functions in such areas as Market Surveillance, Employee Due Diligence, Disclosure of Interest and the Global Data Warehouse. Role will partner with Compliance Technology Services and HR Technology to provide them with the data required to effectively and accurately execute required surveillance and reporting as well as facilitating the integration of data quality standards, Data Quality Measurement and Data Quality Governance.

Responsibilities:

Work with Global Functions of Core Compliance & Human Resources and manage data acquisition projects end to end
Define, analyze and validate data acquisition requirements through various techniques (data analysis, process analysis, prototyping, use cases, business rules definition)
Define the data input, processing/enrichment and output requirements associated with any system and data interfaces needed to satisfy the business requirements. Analyze the actual data, identify/communicate data quality issues and work with other teams as needed to resolve them. Ensure requirements confirm to Client data naming standards.
SME on business data sources and associated business data
Document requirements according to Client standards, achieve consensus and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders
Follow Client SDLC process and documentation standards and best practices to produce deliverables
Assist the development, SIT/UAT testing and production support efforts, providing requirements knowledge and subject matter expertise to the teams performing these functions
Manage changes to the existing requirements via a Change Control process
Identify, communicate and resolve issues and risks as they arise anywhere in the end to end process
Continuously improve subject matter expertise in the business areas being supported, sufficient to become a Trusted Advisor to the Business stakeholders
Partner with Global Functions and Sectors to deliver published IMR deployment and maturity plans
Partner with Global Functions and Sectors to implement Data Quality Measurement across the Primary Data flows and CDEs
Build and deliver a series of data quality improvement projects
Coordinates with other COE teams including Requirements, Testing and PMO.
Engages with a diverse set of Business and Technology groups globally to deliver appropriate solutions.

Skills Required:

Must have 5-10 experience and detailed understanding of global markets equity and fixed income products as well as their associated transactions flows. (Order capture, execution, corrections, booking and clearing).
Must have 5 years of experience with one or more business intelligence and data forensic tool sets such as SAS, BO, MicroStrategy, Cognos or Hyperion.
Must have SME knowledge and experience with MS Excel including, but not limited to, formulas, macros, graphs, charts and pivot tables.
Must have 5-years of strong hands-on experience with SQL.
Must have 5 years of experience in processing large volumes of securities and banking customer and transaction data and transforming them into meaning metrics and information that allow for confident decision making on the business relevance, accuracy, completeness and conformity of sourced data as it relates to the technology platforms that facilitate the global functions of Core Compliance and HR.
Must be a self-starter and work productively with minimal direction and oversight.
Experience leading, developing, and performing a variety of quantitative analyses.
Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills, with a demonstrated track record of developing and performing a variety of quantitative analyses.
Demonstrate leadership and managerial skills (analyses, projects, and people), with particular aptitude for leading in a fast-paced, highly intellectually and politically complex environment.
Demonstrate ability to exercise sound judgment in making business decisions, especially when leading teams where tradeoffs must be made and buy-in from key stakeholders must be achieved
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively interface, influence and build alignment with individuals and multi-disciplinary teams across all levels of management
Strong project management skills
Must learn quickly and produce under pressure and tight deadlines.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to collaborate across multiple business and technology functions. Relationship building and consensus building are a must
Must have extremely strong listening, requirements definition, analysis and problem solving skills.
Must have extremely strong written and oral communications skills.
Must have strong Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Word knowledge.
