Position Responsibilities – Summary

As member of the Client Applications Delivery team, this individual will be
responsible for leading the technical design reviews and implementation of
firm's Client Reporting and Analytics platforms. This role requires a
well-rounded technologist that can work with stakeholders to build consensus
on vision and then materially lead high visibility projects through
technical design, construction, testing and implementation.

This multi-faceted role offers the individual the opportunity to have
tremendous impact on a number of multi-channel reporting initiatives. The
candidate would also be joining the group at a point at which they will have
significant direct impact on the evolution of our Data Warehousing (DW),
Business Intelligence (BI), and Reporting Application & Services platforms.

Responsibilities:

· Effectively balance dual roles as a hands-on (Oracle) DW/ BI
expert and a (Java) Reporting Services Specialist.

· Build interfaces between transactional systems, web APIs, etc. and
the BI/Analytics application suite.

· Personally deliver complex baseline components and provide support
and technical guidance for team members and external IT stakeholders.

· Ensure quality by conducting technical reviews of DW/BI and
Application components. Resolve issues as needed. Lead by example.

· Be responsible for the overlap of business requirements with the
application and technical architecture.

· Track new trends and directions in technology, and determines
potential impact to our organization.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Solid DW/BI Background. Demonstrated expertise in Oracle BI
Server, Repository, Answers, Interactive Dashboard, Publisher, Scheduler,
etc.

· Strong Java development background. In particular, experience
building reporting applications, services, and frameworks.

· Advanced / deep knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL. Oracle skills in
database design for data warehouses, dimensional modeling and relational
modeling preferably in Financial Services domain.

· Strong experience with ETL. Proven DataStage experience strongly
desired.

· Expertise in tuning report performance by optimizing data
structures.

· Proven ability to support multiple work streams simultaneously.

· Must be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal
supervision.

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.

· Overall 10+ years of relevant work experience.

· 5+ years of experience implementing Business Intelligence & Data

The Enterprise Architecture group is looking for a Data Architect/ Modeler/
Strategist for Order Management and Compliance Systems in the Trading
domain.

This team has an extremely exciting agenda of ongoing and new projects. The

The successful candidate will work with a team of front office investment
technologists to define and deliver the Data Strategy, group wide. S/he will
at the same time play a key role in influencing the strategic direction of
the data architecture team, governance, implementation of data strategy,
data design, modeling and security. On a day-to-day basis, s/he will
provide analysis and recommendations on data functions, procedures and
policies to mission critical systems in the area of investment research and
portfolio construction. The successful candidate will be regarded as a
trust-worthy authoritative data expert across fixed income and equity
domains.

The candidate should have a proven track record in developing and delivering
Data Strategies surrounding Investment Management Data. Strong experience
in Data Modeling, Data Design, Data Governance, Investment Management
processes, systems, quality assurance and an awareness of Market and
Reference Data landscape are critical. Superb ability to acquire knowledge
and grasp new skills on-the-fly is essential to success in this role.

Delivery focus is a key attribute for this role. Other essential skills

This role reports to the Manager of Data Architecture within IS. The

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Develop, promote, and build consensus around data architecture
for the investor and client teams, providing technical leadership for
developing and maintaining solutions.

· Identify gaps in the Data Model and address them actively in
collaboration with business facing teams using a deep understanding of
financial services or high-volume, low-latency systems in other verticals.

· In collaboration with the application teams, define, develop,
maintain, and communicate information movement standards that will be used

· Align Investment Data Architecture efforts with other Enterprise

Architecture.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· At least 10 years progressive experience in Data Architecture
