Purchasing Manager for chemical company in northern
NJ. Responsible for negotiations, sourcing of materials, continuous
improvement, etc. Incumbent will manage supplier performance.
Interface with sales, marketing, R&D and manufacturing facilities.
Interface with global purchasing organization. Reports to Purchasing
Director.
Requirements
· Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business or related
field
· 3-5 years' experience in process improvement,
PPV, sourcing, purchasing, supplier management
· Proficient in MS Office suite
· Accounting skills for make vs buy analysis
· Proven track record of savings
· Excellent negotiation skills
