Subject: GenY Networking Group - January 22 Meeting Reminder
The next GenY Networking Group session will be held Wednesday, January 22nd, 7 PM, Library of the Chathams (see flyer attached).
We are pleased to welcome to or meeting – for the first time – Rachael Barish.
Rachael Barish is an IT professional who has a passion for data. She will help you clean up your data and extract the relevant information to help make good business decisions. She has recently come off a '6 month' contract for Pfizer that lasted for 2.5 years. www.linkedin.com/in/rbarish/
During this session, Rachael will -
· Discuss networking - what she has learned over the years of being in and out of transition
· Identify who to network with - FRANKS - Friends, Relatives, Acquaintances
· Provide insight on where to network – LandingExpert.com, Meetup groups, etc.
· Cover some of the tools of networking including LinkedIn
So make sure to bring your business cards and elevator pitch! If there is time we will network as a group or break into pairs or small groups and 'speed' network.
Please plan to attend and spread the word. I am confident that Rachael will not disappoint and that you will enjoy this evening.
