Project Manager
Location: New York, NY, Heart of Silicon Alley
Summary:
The Project Manager will join the growing Technology practice of our
company. This role will coordinate the company's resource allocation
and forecasting efforts, working closely with the Project Management
Office (PMO), as well as each practice area of the company - Strategy,
Product & Technology.
Your Role:
· Develop actionable resource allocation reports and plans
· Maintain resource allocations – tracking baseline against
actuals
· Work with appropriate team resources to identify and
communicate team staffing requirements
· Coordinate the sourcing of contingent staff ( independent
contractors, vendors, etc.) from identification to ramp-up to roll-off
· Execute the onboarding and offboarding processes for all
contingent staff
· Identify and understand cross-project dependencies and risks –
coordinating with respective teams as applicable
· The project manager will support designing and implementing
program and project management processes and templates.
Your Background:
· 2-3 years work experience, with exposure to staffing or
resource allocation processes a plus
· Outstanding verbal, written and communication skills. Strong
presence in a team environment.
· Exceptional project management and organizational skills
· Strong written/oral/presentation skills with the ability to
absorb low-level business/technical detail and translate into relevant,
actionable information digestible by multiple audiences (project-level
resources to executive sponsorship)
· Experience managing projects that bridge both external and
internal teams a plus
· Prior experience in agile environment preferred.
· Near mastery of MS Office applications and ability to quickly
adapt to the multitude of Cloud-based applications that help run the our
business.
· BA/BS required.
· Role may require travel up to 25%
