Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator who will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining our purchasing process, coordinate purchase requests from multi-plant locations, track purchases, negotiate best prices and best production quality with suppliers and voucher purchases and receipts into our computer system.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal personnel
· Ensures that re-ordering of stock is carried out on a monthly basis as required to maintain adequate stock levels of chemicals, supplies or parts for production and engineering.
· Initiate and process vendor purchases.
· Manages vendor documentation program, ensuring that a tracking system is in place and maintained W9 paperwork or other documents are maintained.
· Match purchase orders with vendor invoices for payment approval
Verify invoices, enter and upload invoices into system and prepare check requests Prepare account analysis and reconcile accounts payable transactions Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain vendor files Assist with month end closing
Minimum Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:
· 2 – 3 years prior purchasing experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel
· Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines
· Knowledge of Navision software system
· Excellent oral, written communications skills are required
· Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.

PROCUREMENT MANAGER long-term consulting opportunity at large Brooklyn non-profit organization.  Oversee day-to-day functions of the Procurement department, reviewing open contracts, scheduling annual contract renewal process, reviewing insurance log and ensuring contracts have up to date insurance coverage.  Manage annual blanket order renewal process; manage annual procurement renewal process; participate in budget reviews.  BA degree in Finance or Accounting.
