Job Description:
Summary: The main function of a Manager, Communications is develop consistent communication strategies across organization and partner with Corporate and Public Affairs team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling communication material and key messages to build advocacy while ensuring a consistent message and alignment to communication methodology.
- Offer communication advise and guidance on communication tactics and strategy ensuring project objectives are met and transformational change efforts are effectively supported.
- Identify opportunities to leverage learnings and advise key stakeholders of implementation plan status.
- Monitor all sources of employee feedback to identify common themes and suggestions to create communication strategies and tactics to respond to feedback.

Skills:
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in corporate communications or consulting environment
Ability to think analytically and creatively, to identify and develop solutions to enhance communication opportunities.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt communications to meet the needs of the audience.
Excellent MS office, specifically power point, skills
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Security Engineer:

The Security Engineering position, WWIS/IT Security Technologies Management, is part of the team responsible for the design, build and ongoing engineering support related to the Security Event and Log Management infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Responsible for the deployment, integration and configuration of the Global Centralized Security Event and Log Management tools and processes, in accordance with sound design and change management principles.
Perform application support activities such as report creation/fine-tuning, availability monitoring, role development/fine-tuning and data receipt, load and storage.
Perform environmental administration tasks associated with the associated Operations System (OS) and Application, including but not limited to patching and upgrades.
Operate and maintain an enterprise-wide Log Management process and tool deployed across multiple environments to gather, analyze and present information from network and security devices; identify and access management applications.
Assess the environment for opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the environment. Provide recommendation to Security Engineering leadership for review and approval.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A. Education and/or additional training
A BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical discipline is required. CISSP or equivalent is preferred.
B. Experience
7+ years of experience engineering/operating SIM, SEM or SEIM technologies. Experience with RSA s Security Analytics suite and enVision platform is required.
Strong knowledge of security monitoring, log management and incident response principles and practical related experience
Must also demonstrate application experience with the ability to learn new technology.
Demonstrated experience in writing and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), Job References (Ref) documentation including the ability to coach others for the quality of content is required.
Demonstrate experience in System Development Lifecycles especially security technologies.

Job Description : Plan and carry out logistics associated with ACA, NY & NJ conferences while working with the Director of Events and volunteer committees.  Work in conjunction with the Director of Events on the execution and planning of our Annual Conference / Tradeshow.  Execute and monitor the marketing of all aspects of the ACA, NY & NJ including, but not limited to conferences, non-dues revenue generation, training & consulting.

 

Key responsibilities:

Tri State CAMP Conference:

*          Work with program committee to research and select speakers and sessions
*          Work with General Session committee on Keynote selection & running the logistics of            General Sessions including run of show, videos and operating AV for General Sessions
*          Coordinate speaker needs - collection of biographies, session information, headshots
*          Work closely with the AV company and conference center event management team to          complete all orders for AV, F&B and room sets
*          Create conference materials - evaluations, session signs, etc
*          Compile, organize & edit Program Book
*          Recruit and hire interns
*          Put conference calendar on ACA NY & NJ website and keep calendar up to date
*          Manage Mobile App and upload all pertinent details
*          Communicate with committee chairs and organize committee efforts
*          Organize event dinners and social events

 Conferences:

*          Manage all smaller conferences autonomously
*          Choose location / venue
*          Create schedule
*          Research and book speakers
*          Order F&B and AV
*          Monitor registration
*          Manage onsite logistics

 Marketing:

*          Conference marketing development including coordination, analysis and continual                  monitoring for progress
*          Contribute to the growth and performance of the ACA, NY & NJ
*          Stay on top of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objective of the organization and adjusting plans accordingly
*          Manage and develop marketing promotions and materials

 

Qualifications:

*          2-5 Years experience in Meeting Planning and / or marketing
*          Bachelor's Degree
*          Knowledge of event planning, on-site, and post-event logistics and processes
*          Knowledge of marketing events and / or conference
*          Strong organizing skills and attention to detail
*          Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and communicate with a diverse                group of people and volunteers
*          Ability to take initiative and direction and work with others as part of a coordinated                team effort
*          Professionalism, good political skills, diplomacy, and tact
*          Ability to meet deadlines
*          Strong verbal and written skills
*          Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
*          Experience in a camp community preferred.
