I hope this finds you well.   I am reaching out regarding searches for a Senior Product Manager-US Biosimilars and an Associate Product Manager-US Biosimilars (new addition) within a well known pharma company in southern Florida (relocation provided).   
 
These exciting positions will be responsible for strategic and tactical implementation of marketing programs for their Oncology Biosimilar products and pipeline.    BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred.  For the (SPM) 4 + years, (APM) 2 years Marketing experience in Oncology Biologics.  Prior Sales experience required.  Previous Market Research, Analysis and Planning experience preferred.

Senior Product Manager - US Biosimilars
Reporting to Director, Marketing
 
Job Summary:
Responsible for the strategic development and tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to build brand awareness and contribute to the achievement of the company biosimilars supportive care and oncology business objectives. The Senior Product Manager will analyze and achieve team consensus and commitment for product positioning within the existing marketplace, communicate with medical science liaisons to confirm direction, and collaborate with managed care marketing and sales for optimal execution.
 
This experienced oncology marketer will be instrumental in helping the company build core competencies in oncology/supportive care marketing. Functional skills include leading the strategic planning process, input for supply chain management, and oncology reimbursement. Additionally, this person will be instrumental in providing marketing input to the clinical development plan, regulatory negotiations, competitive strategy assessment, medical education and publication planning. The Senior Product Manager will have a results-oriented focus.  
 
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Senior Product Manager—Biosimilars division, will be responsible for both product planning and product marketing.
 
Responsibilities:
·         Develops and directly manages the implementation of all marketing plans and tactics to ensure timely and quality execution that will meet or exceed goals and objectives
§  Develop the core positioning and messaging for the portfolio.
§  Develop appropriate packaging and differentiation strategies.
§  Develop content for product and corporate collateral materials.
§  Develop reimbursement strategy for products and set product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
§  Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.
§  Provide in-depth analysis of market, industry and competitors.
§  Develop both internal and external product education strategies
·         Collaborate with KOL thought-leaders and product champions to develop value added programs and materials to support portfolio. Specify marketing strategy for current and future products by conducting market research supported by KOL development (e.g., investigator meetings, speakers bureaus, etc…) and market access programs.
·         Determine and recommend managed care marketing strategies, plans and activities that support optimal formulary  positioning, reimbursement, access and overall market share
·         In-depth knowledge of the current and evolving managed care landscape and its implications for biologics and biosimilars -  formulary positioning, reimbursement, access and overall market share
·         Support marketing, sales, technical support, clinical support and customer service through leading the development and implementation of marketing collateral materials including product brochures, patient medication guides, reimbursement program materials, online marketing programs, as appropriate.
·         Works closely with cross-functional teams for pricing, reimbursement, contracting, and distribution strategies, plans and objectives 
·         Support sales management/field sales by providing training on products, feature/benefit opportunities and competitive comparisons.
·         Work with the sales team to develop innovative marketing programs for professional association meetings, tradeshows, and other corporate events
·         Continuously monitors and measures effectiveness and results from marketing strategies, plans and objectives. Regularly reviews forecasting and other business analyses and uses to make appropriate further recommendations to increase market access, address currently unmet needs, and generally help to improve the overall market strength for the company biosimilars portfolio
·         Complies with all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of marketing and sales activities
·         Manage 1 – 2 Product Managers or Assoc. PMs.

Requirements
 
  • BS degree required, MBA preferred
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience required 4 years of experience in biologic oncology pharmaceutical sales / marketing (minimum of 2 years in biologic oncology marketing)
  • Experience working with and directing agencies and strategic vendors
  • Previous market research, analysis, planning experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology industry is a plus.  
  • Experience in Liquid/Solid Tumor and/or supportive care and general understanding of oncology reimbursement is a plus
  • Previous experience in completing and implementing marketing launch plans
·         Is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
·         Is able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
·         Up to 50% travel
 
Associate Product Manager – US Biosimilars
Reporting to Senior Product Manager
 
Job Summary:
