 Qualifications Requirements:·         A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in electrical or electronic engineering and at least one year (FOR LEVEL I) and two years (FOR LEVEL II) of full-time satisfactory experience in project/construction management, construction inspection, or other related work for engineering or construction management projects.  Experience in electrical engineering work or related disciplines.  Experience in railroad power-operated signal engineering work; or in signal maintenance; or electrical equipment installation and inspection is desirable.·         A high school diploma and at least five years (FOR LEVEL I) and six years (FOR LEVEL II) of full-time satisfactory experience in project/construction management, construction inspection, or other related work for engineering or construction management projects.  Experience in electrical engineering work or related disciplines.  Experience in railroad power-operated signal engineering work; or in signal maintenance; or in electrical equipment installation and inspection is desirable.·         A high school diploma and any combination of college education and/or experience described above for a total equivalent of five years (FOR LEVEL I) and six years (FOR LEVEL II) education and experience.  One year of experience credit shall be given for each year of college education leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in the disciplines mentioned above; or for a Masters degree in the above-mentioned disciplines.  Experience Requirements:·         Experience in electrical engineering work; construction management; construction inspection, or railroad power-operated signal engineering work; signal maintenance; or electrical equipment installation or similar related experience.  The work shall include various work activities, including but not limited to:·         Provide inspection services for the work related to signal modernized construction under the supervision of the Construction Manager or designee.·         Review contractor submittals for Additional Work Orders (AWO).  Review specifications and drawings, field survey and validate AWO requirements.·         Prepare estimates, participate in negotiations, process and monitor AWO process.·         Process progress payment; review Detail Cost Breakdown (DBE), verify work completed and prepare payment documents.·         Complete daily reports of the contractor activities and compliance to contract requirements.·         Monitor compliance of all safety and quality requirements based on company standards and the contract requirements.·         Log and Track submittals to and from the contractor.·         Review approved Shop drawing submittals for signal and electrical equipment, messengers, cable chases/trays, enclosure layouts, and installation for conformance to company standards·         Conduct field surveys and prepare reports.·         Perform the duties of the "Engineer in Charge" for bulletins and general orders; set-up of flagging and monitoring work train movements.·         Attend and participate in project progress meetings.·         Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFI's).·         Track and coordinate correspondence.·         Develop and coordinate responses for various requests and reports
