The Project Manager, reporting to the Packaging Supply Chain Operations Team, will be responsible for project leadership, commitment to program success, and building relationships with customers and key stakeholders, while meeting all cost, schedule and technical requirements of the program. The Packaging Supply Chain Operations Group is part of the Global Operations Group within PO&T (Pharmaceutical Operations and Technology). PO&T is the global manufacturing and supply chain organization.
Job Description:
- The Project Manager will perform all or some of the following Job description:
- The Project Manager will support organizational matrix teams of dedicated professionals on the successful execution of various product programs.
- Support Business Process Leader (BPL) in outlining data driven project plans for artwork and packaging teams.
- Develop detailed program plans that cover planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and close out phases.
- Outline specifics for program milestones, requirements, payment schedules, subcontracts definition, technical work description, staffing, integrated master schedules, and budgets.
- Continually monitor program performance (technical, cost and schedule) on a weekly basis through direct interaction with project teams and BPL.
- The Project Manager will maintain the Risks and Opportunities register and execute plans to retire and capture identified Risks and Opportunities.
- Demonstrate the use of Continuous Improvement (CI) tools within the business

Our client, a Healthcare Organization located in *Windsor, CT is looking
for a **Linux Administrator-Engineer (Redhat, CISCO UCS or VCE vBlock,
VMWare)*
*Duties:*
- Demonstrate engineering excellence in the design, systems management,
patching, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Linux
based operating systems.
Recommend and implement process improvements and automation to maximize
system availability and consistency.
- Automate patching and deployments using the latest technologies.
Effectively mesh various infrastructure components, such as servers,
storage, networks, etc. to a service or application.
- Set strategic direction and manage implementation.
- Provide accurate project estimates, while meeting project deadlines.
- Provide timely, creative and alternative solutions to meet business
needs.
- Provide off-hours on-call support on a rotational basis.
- Provide significant weeknight and weekend support.
- There is the possibility this position will be a split shift; 4 hours
in the afternoon and 4 hours during the evening.
*Skills:*
Candidate should have the following:
- Proficient *Linux administration skills in support of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux.*
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead simultaneous projects and prioritize effectively.
- Thorough working *knowledge of VMWare*.
- *CISCO UCS and/or VCE vBlock experience* is preferred.
- Good understanding of networking and security concepts (switches,
routers, firewall, etc)
- Experience supporting* Oracle, JBoss, Tomcat, and the IBM WebSphere
suite of products is a definite plus.*
- Working knowledge of *Cisco UCS Blade configuration including RAID
work*
- Working knowledge of *RHEL installations via Kickstart Network
configuration and troubleshooting*
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead simultaneous projects and prioritize effectively.
- Education: Bachelors degree in a computer related field, or
equivalent, with 6+ years of relevant IT work experience.
*Education:*
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least
four, typically six or more years experience in all phases of
infrastructure network management or its equivalent in education and work
experience.
