Position: Business Manager
 
Job Description: Provide direct operational support for fiscal management of the business, including accounting, cash flow management, report development and analysis. Report directly to the CFO in support of all aspects of financial operations. This role will require interaction and support to all areas of the company (Corporate, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Construction) . The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and strong attention to detail and follow-through. The Business Manager role is critical to the day to day operation of the business, and must demonstrate experience in relevant routine operations combined with sound business judgment. This is a ground floor opportunity for a qualified candidate: a key managerial role with a leading company in the exploding field of solar energy.
 
Responsibilities:
• Direct support for all AP and AR operations, including expense management, disbursement operations, payroll, routine filings and tax payments, invoicing, collections, and a wide variety of cash flow management and related tracking and accounting functions.
• Interact directly with customers and suppliers in support of routine AP, and AR functions.
• Use of spreadsheets for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Making all QuickBooks entries and related reporting.
• Routine monitoring, tracking, and analysis of the production base, with customer contact and interaction with technical operations as needed
• Support all the banking functions and manage daily banking operations.
• Support the CFO on various fiscal management and business development efforts
• Operational support for all fiscal matters across the business (sales, engineering, construction, administration) .
 
Qualifications:
• College graduate in a financial or business discipline is required. Accounting experience is required; an accounting degree is preferred but not required.
• 5 to 7 years experience in a corporate environment required. Experience in related fields (construction, real estate, etc.) preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers and business partners (suppliers, banks, etc), including effective management of difficult situations (collections, dispute resolution, customer complaints, etc).
• Experience with QuickBooks or related financial software required
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite of Programs, required
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and reliable follow-through relatively independently
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, and changing environment in a dynamic, growing, and highly competitive industry. Must be a fast learner and self directed, with excellent communication, interpersonal and team interaction skills. Ability to multi task, work under pressure, and manage shifting priorities are all required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FI/CO Business Analyst who will
work with Global & Local ERP Teams and be responsible for SAP FI/CO
Implementation and Support (with full integration to other SAP
functions/modules).

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ø Support company Businesses in all SAP Finance & Controlling matters
including Business Process Re-engineering / Design, Project Planning,
Design, Testing, Training & Implementation in the SAP FI/CO Module for new
site/country roll-out including staffing, if necessary

Ø SAP FI/CO configuration and Design of Functional and Technical
Specifications for SAP FI/CO programs / interfaces / reports in coordination
with the SAP Global FI/CO Team.

Ø Business Contact & Communication including attending Finance &
Accounting meetings, etc.

Ø Prioritize projects with user community including ROI, Cost /Benefit
analysis.

Ø Utilize Six Sigma techniques to streamline processes and drive
continuous improvement in performance and customer/employee satisfaction

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Ø Bachelors or Masters Degree in Information Technology

Ø At least 5 years hands-on experience including configuration as SAP
FI/CO Consultant and/or SAP Business Analyst in the SAP Finance &
Controlling module with minimum of 3 SAP full life cycle implementations
(start to end).

Ø Good working knowledge of Financial Accounting / Reporting as well
as the Finance & Controlling processes in a manufacturing, sales
distribution and service environment.

Ø Have both functional / business process knowledge and technical
competence in Finance & Controlling functions/processes

Ø Extensive experience in SAP ERP Solutions with business applications
in highly diversified industry segments

Ø SAP FI/CO Integration with other SAP Modules like SD, SM, PP, & MM
is necessary

Ø Exposure to Multinational, Multicurrency, Multilanguage GLOBAL
implementations required

Ø Experience working in American / European or Asia / Pac-Rim
environment

Ø Experience in Statutory & US GAAP reporting

Ø Competent in application development life cycle including

As some of you may know, my grandfather, Thomas Russell, has been ill. He is being released from the hospital today and headed home. He's not strong enough yet to be home on his own but wants to stay at his own home in Jersey City (and he's 94 yrs old). We need a Homemaker/Nurse Aide to assist on a daily basis for approx 20 hrs pr week to start ASAP. Pay is negotiable.
