Summary:

The User Interface Designer designs user interfaces for the client's suite of transactional Web and Desktop applications The UI Designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design high-performance enterprise, customer-facing business applications The UI Designer must be able to conceptualize complex business requirements and deliver creative UI designs, prototypes, and specifications to optimize the user experience. Additional responsibilities include concept development, graphic design, wireframe creation, usability testing, and quality assurance of developed screens.

Responsibilities

•     Design and build high-fidelity prototypes to explore product concepts

•     Develop high level and detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

•     Design user interfaces for transactional Web and desktop applications with a focus on usability.

•     Collaborate with Product Management and Business Analysts to understand application and end-user requirements.

•     Initiate and conduct early review sessions to validate design approach/feasibility with Product Management, Analysis, Development and Quality Assurance.

•     Refine and validate designs through usability studies and direct interaction with user communities.

•     Create design specifications for implementation and quality assurance.

•     Maintain company brand and imagery, establish and maintain design principles

•     Maintain awareness of competitive product interfaces.

Requirements

•     5+ years of experience in Web and/or Windows user interface/interaction design.

•     Experience designing forms-based end-user web applications.

Company description

HistoRx is building a company poised to commercialize a portfolio of novel
diagnostics aimed at predicting response to treatment. The AQUAR
technology, an enabling platform based on quantitative fluorescent
immunohistochemistry, is in demand by pharmaceutical researchers. The
company's business model requires that our pharma service operations not
only be an important revenue generating activity, but must also create
diagnostic content that feeds our pipeline as a result of the
collaborative work with our pharmaceutical partners. The company has built a
successful assay development and biomarker consulting business based on AQUA
technology and its application to drug development. The successful
candidate will be charged with growing the current, successful business.

The Sales Director will be selling consultative services involving biomarker
analysis and assay development based on quantitative immunohistochemistry
(IHC) data generated with the AQUAR platform. These services are
applicable to pharmaceutical clinical, translational, and R&D projects,
primarily in Oncology drug development. The current business has
approximately 12 customers encompassing >30 projects with annual revenues of
$4M.

Position Description

The Sales Director is responsible for revenue generation from the sale of
HistoRx services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies. This position
requires a candidate with experience in selling services to pharma and
biotech companies, an understanding of drug development (particularly
clinical trials and translational research) and the pharma industry, and
expertise in client management.

The Sales Director will be primarily responsible for maintaining and
expanding current alliances and substantially growing new pharma/biotech
accounts. Strong evidence of the ability to open new doors to new partners
is essential.

Remuneration will comprise base salary, commission and options. Success will
be measured by client account retention and revenue growth while positioning
the company as a diagnostics partner. This position reports to the VP of

The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for the definition of our
strategic architectural direction regarding security as it applies to our
technology stack with respect to Access Identity Management, Entitlements,
WS-Security, B2B Gateways, and all associated or connected systems.
Key Responsibilities

Use excellent consulting, influencing, communication and business
collaboration skills to Display knowledge and understanding of the business
implications of introducing (or displacing) solutions, of IT strategy and
planning aligned to business strategies, of large and complex security
infrastructures as well as complex application integration environments.
Define the security architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best
practices, define and document architecture modeling, practices, and
governance and reference patterns as they pertain to Enterprise Security.
Provide technical leadership at the enterprise level for the design of
information technology systems with a core focus on Security
Design system security, security architecture, network security with
architectural oversight of current state and future state as it aligns to
business strategy documenting this information in an EA Framework. Leverage
experience with security solutions such as SSO, Identity Management,
Federated Identity Management, Network access control, endpoint enforcement
products, proxy servers, infrastructure and desktop firewalls, IDS/IPS,
encryption solutions, vulnerability assessments tools, identify access
management, etc.
Architect, design and oversee administration of EIM footprints leveraging
experience or knowledge of object/component development, n-tier
applications, cross system integration, securing web services, UDDI,
security-related hardware, software, external interfaces, commercial
security products, and architecture/design practices for SOA
Execute security policies with VPN and encryption related technologies that
apply to requested solutions (AES, DES/DES3, FWZ, ISAKMP, PGP, IPSEC, HTTPS)
Experience and Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
required and 10+ years of experience as an IT Architect.
Certification or experience with TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF, COBIT, ITIL or
Gartner Framework a plus.
Possess appropriate security certifications (CISSP, CISA, SCNA, SCNP). HIPAA
security requirements highly desirable
Knowledge and understanding of the health care business as a whole, product
knowledge is a plus.
