Job Description:

This position performs a variety of HR generalist functions in support of
corporate departments and field HR staff, with a focus on overall and
diversity recruitment, diversity programs, and HR communications. The Human
Resources generalist position provides broad HR support to corporate and
field managers and departments on a variety of HR activities aligned with
the company's goals.

Essential Duties:

Diversity Recruitment and Diversity Programs:

. Support field recruiters/field HR Managers by providing tools and
resources to increase the applicant pool of diverse candidates and assist
field in achievement of HR diversity goals; suggest ways to improve the
Company's diverse employee representation in all levels of the organization;
Suggest the use of specific diversity targeted job boards and prepare
recruitment advertisements to attract diverse candidates
. Assist the field and corporate locations in implementation of a high
potential diverse employee leadership program; coordinate the diversity
succession planning process, working closely with the Director of Training
and the Region/Corporate HR Managers; Coordinate and track program metrics
and success;
. Research and suggest implementation of diversity best practices, including
a diversity mentoring program, throughout the Company; coordinate and track
program metrics and success;
. Manage company membership relationships to promote our diversity
practices, including the leveraging of sponsorships for
recruitment/advertising with organizations such as the National Association
of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and the Diversity Best Practices Company

Recruitment and Onboarding Activities

. Use of the applicant tracking system to manage/post requisitions, prepare
offer letters, initiate background checks, drug tests and perform other
system functions to ensure smooth candidate processing; Personnel file
set-up and maintenance; Interact with payroll to follow-up and ensure new
hire is processed accordingly
. Support recruitment efforts of National, Strategic and Government account
program; working closely with hiring managers to assist in their recruitment
efforts; Support field recruiters and Region HRMs as necessary
. Oversee day-to-day recruitment vendor relationships with Hireright,
Wonderlic, Caliper, and all job boards, including invoicing
. Work closely with corporate sales and payroll to ensure employee
guarantees and other payroll actions are processed correctly; work with
hiring managers to resolve issues. Coordinate job board chargebacks to the
branches, working with Tampa accounting group.

HR Communications

. Working collaboratively with Marketing and external resources, prepare HR
Bulletins and Employee Newsletters, Open Enrollment pkg,
Scholarship/Education Assistance programs, training materials and other
presentations, new HR initiatives, HR Website, and any other HR internal and
external communication pieces.
. Define project scope and assess business requirements, identifying key
messages and deliverables; source and identify key contributors (SME's);
Establish quarterly communication strategy and plan with defined timeline
for project deliverables
. Assess and monitor project/material cost; suggesting cost improvement
alternatives.
. Work with SME's, making recommendations on design, content, format of
deliverables; Work with marketing and/or third party vendors in determining
layout, design, and branding strategy; make recommendations to support
business requirements
. Coordinate, develop, and implement internal and external advertising and
promotional strategies for various HR programs, as necessary;
. Working with NAS recruitment advertising vendor and job boards, create and
implement Company brand messaging, email blasts and other recruitment
campaigns.
. Place recruitment ads in GI Jobs and other targeted publications.

Job Requirements:

. BA/BS in Human Resources or related field, or comparable experience

. PHR or SPHR certificate preferred

. Minimum of 5 years experience in HR as a generalist in a corporate
setting, preferably with a large decentralized organization; successful
experience with job boards, recruitment methods, diversity recruitment best
practices, diversity programs, and HR communications are essential.

. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

. Ability to write clearly, effectively, and creatively for a variety of
audiences on various topics

. Excellent editing, proofing and attention to details

. Strong project management skills

. Possess the following competencies at a high level: Ability to multitask,
sense of urgency, creativity, internal customer service, flexibility,
problem solving/decision-making, planning and organizing, and
teamwork/collaboration.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment; requires sitting at a desk
and working at a computer. Minimal travel may be required.
